Quartermaster seen at the dealer

Seen at the dealer in Hamburg on March 23rd, 2024.

Here is some factual information compared to my Amarok.
Everyone has to decide for themselves whether these differences are important to them.
  • The cargo area liner should rattle well, it's just a thin, flimsy plastic wall on the side.
    Here I would prefer a coating (Herculiner / U-Pol Raptor)
  • The green one also had a 220V socket on the loading area.
  • The Quartermaster is 20cm longer than the old Amarok (2012-2020), but has significantly less legroom in front of the rear seats.
    When I adjust the driver's seat for myself, the rear footwell is only enough for children.
  • The spare wheel takes up a lot of space on the loading area; on the Amarok this is mounted under the loading area to save space.

I can't see many people in Australia keeping the tub on the back or even ordering it now that a cab/chassis version is available

I had all the shelves and stuff in my canopy it was too heavy. Ditched all that fitted two basic very quickly slapped together ply shelves for food racks and 2 cheap fold up tables the rest I put in the cheaper Bunnings medium interlocking space cases that can be easily arranged for camp furniture and removed and stored at home leaving a more useful empty canopy when not travelling. I made tie rail with bolt points for each side and movable tie down dividers across the canopy.

The divider is set up like the side rails with equally distanced 40mm and 10mm holes to allow for easy configuration changes with out drilling the floor and the divider can move in 75mm steps. Ths side rails are bolted through to the tray and hold the canopy down. I use the same set up as roof rails for solar and the canopy roof was made to support a direct heavy load. Not set up for removing the canopy while touring and not much fun to remove at home.

Ditto, one seen on Tuesday 26th March near Bowker Ribble Valley, Lancashire, UK on trade plates. Gut feel, first impression is that a 110 or 130 crew cab looks better but is way less civilised.
