Excellent. 👌

Looks like they've gone for a fabric material rather than the horrible plastic JLR moved to.

They are moving this along at quite a fast pace. In the SA video, the Ineos agent indicated that they would have a prototype in the fall for an offroad show. This feels like they could go in production tomorrow.

Looks the dogs dangles, maybe i should have waited!

@nd, you will be able to flip yours for a premium or even breakeven. My game plan is if this hits US shores, I will sell my Gren and use the proceeds to purchase the UTE. If it doesn't come here, I will still have a great vehicle to drive.

Love the practicalities of the dual cab ute
(Pickup) - but I can’t like the look of it. The tray looks way out of proportion to the front of the vehicle and doesn’t look balanced - it’s looks like an afterthought.
Agree, would look better without the bar work but then the rear overhang is still too long. Needs the awning/tarp cover to make it look kosher.

I am a pick-up man over a 4x4 but I don’t prefer the pick up over the original IG. It reminds me of a defender 130 in proportions which I love, but I just can’t put my finger on why it doesn’t click with me.

I would like to see one with a back on, I think that would probably change my mind.

I have a BMW 1200GSA (over 7 feet long (87”), total length) and also owned a pickup with a 5.5’ bed, and from the pics of the ute, that would be tight fit. It would certainly be with the tailgate down, if it could fit at all, with the added complication of if the tailgate can accommodate the weight.

FWIW, I never put my bike in the bed. It was easier to trailer it, which happened rarely. Riding a 700lb bike ($25,000) up a narrow ramp into a short bed has a lot of downsides.

This article references 150k global reservations, and not pickup
In fact, that's ten times the numbers I've heard so far.

Wouldn't be the first time a zero too much would appear in the news ...

I find colors play tricks on us and this color makes it look unbalanced. The white version makes it look normal.
