PDC/Park Distance Control, permanent warning when reversing

You remind me of some long overdue, regular gymnastics measures to combat immobility...
Come and help me finish my sea wall.
You can dig holes or mix concrete - or both.
I can pay you in beer currency.

Thank you, this sounds like something which could be fun - for a short while.
If I'd be bored, I would.
But unfortunately, I'm not.

Retirement is only a concept ... 🤷‍♂️

. . . I also had the same damage pattern. Sensor always red with display of the smallest distance, even if there was no obstacle to be seen far and wide.

After the workshop's first attempt, the distance was indicated correctly (e.g. green bar, then yellow), but the right rear sensor always also showed the red bar for the smallest distance, i.e. two bars in the display in this field.

After replacing the sensor, everything is now working as desired - for the time being :).
Same thing happened to mine when new. Rear left sensors replaced 8 months ago. No issues ever since.

Finally received my car back from dealer. I was traveling for 10 days. So they did a bunch of work: Recall, some minor issues, PDC Isssue, + oil change. Sounds like they just reflashed my car's software and now the problem is mostly gone. I did occasionaly in the last 2 days, Still get a false beep on the front passenger PDC, but maybe the car is dirty or water... I will give it a wash tomorrow and see if it happens again next week.

Thanks for letting us all know HogRider! Let's hope that the wash will fix it. I had my parking sensor go nuts a couple of days ago and it was a bug and other crud around it from a trail run. Wiped it off and the "intermittent" PDC issues stopped.
