The other significant problem most people aren’t aware of is that you don’t have to be parked outside of your home to be at risk because most people keep their registration, or some other documentation that has their name and address on it, inside their vehicle. Anyone that can get inside your car automatically knows where you live.During COVID(no comments on COVID please) when we were allowed out to go on walks around the neighbourhood, I noticed quite a few cars with garage remotes on the dash, attached to the sun visor or just sitting in the centre consol. These were parked on the street outside the relevant house.
Crazy how many people don't even think about it.
Steal a remote (or clone it), take a pic of the registration, insurance card, mail, etc…and they can hit your house at their convenience.
