Looks good. Exactly how i plan to paint mine. Just the loops.
The front recovery points have the advantage of the front bash guard over the top... which kinda limits the extent of the red paint required. But yeah the back ones dont have a natural paint stop feature somewhere, so this was my solution... i.e. to limit the extent of red creeping onto the chassis, so to speak.Looks good. Exactly how i plan to paint mine. Just the loops.
I'd say its a Poppy, Remembrance day, 11 hour 11th month WW1What is the red, clam/flower, looking thing on your grille?
It is a Royal British Legion Car Poppy. It is a show of support for UK Armed Forces community and for all those who have fallen in conflict. What is the red, clam/flower, looking thing on your grille?

I like just the loop part. I went and did my test drive and the Gray is pretty dark. I really think it needs some kind of color, so I’ll probably do this to add a splash.
Finally got around to painting mine
Looks good. I used a regular brush, 3 coats. Caterpillar yellow glossy farm equipment paint.Saw a clip of the pic and was wondering about why yellow, and now I see why. Looks well integrated. I painted mine with a foam brush.View attachment 7860676
You have to add some contrast to these Donney Gray vehicles. My wife, who is always understated, thinks the red frame would have been cool..
