Hi all,

I am considering the Owl 2.5" spring lift and King Shocks to pair with it. I have heard some concern around lifting the trucks, specifically concerning driveshafts and axels.

Does anyone have any thoughts regarding the Owl lift or lifting these trucks in general? Ultimately I'd like to fit 35s for a little better clearance of jagged rocks on a path I often travel.

Nothing is Owl specific about the lift... It's the same 2.5"F/1.2"R lift that everyone else is selling from Eibach (although, Eibach offers a plethora of spring options and heights now)

Plenty of threads on here regarding driveshaft issues that have been experienced at these lift levels (y)

I was in same boat as you looking into same setup. I decided to hold out and just do wheels to get about 1" more and wait for front shaft solution or portals.

My Grenadier is still parked at the dealership, waiting for the broken front shaft to be replaced. I'm considering restoring the factory springs and waiting for better solutions.
The good news is that you can fit 35s without needing a lift.
