Now what?

Got first service done, had them rotate tires. Cold weather(or at least relatively so for Texas) and I get tyre pressure warnings. The lower pressure isn’t the issue, it’s the one tire displayed in grey, the others amber. What the hell is that supposed to signify? All four tires are displaying changing temps and pressures… grr.

You may need to reset the tire pressure in the head unit. The orange numbers correspond to the indicated low-pressure alarm.

You need to set the TPMS to the lowest pressure you are comfortable with. Meaning at what pressure are you going to stop and air up. This pressure should be a fair bit lower than what you normally run. The TPMS on the Grenadier is super janky and doesn't have much tolerance. And dwells a bit if cold temps drop your pressure a lot. But as you know here in Texas your tires will quickly be over pressure in a matter of miles, especially if the sun is out. I see huge swings in my pressures.

Problem is you have to drop all of your tires to the minimum to set the lowest pressure. Then air back up.

It means that when they set the cold tire pressures the four tires weren't at the same temp, and thus their "baseline" is slightly different from the others. Just do press set RCP and it'll be good again

huh 36/37psi is high??? My door says 49psi. I keep mine at 45 seems to be good for on road and lower when going off road. What do you keep your PSI at?

The door is for full GVWR only. The manual states 36 F/R for up to 3 occupants and gear. If you look at the load/pressure charts for the tires you'll see that anything over 40PSI is way too high for almost all Grenadier builds

Ahh I didn't realize the manual had that other data..... my other rides show two ratings daily and top speed run on the door. lol Thanks for the info.

Just looked in my book and 40psi should be the happy mark for me.
