I know a guy who works for webasto and instals the for LR in Hamburg Dealer Krüll for 2000 Euro incl. all.

To defend them: yes, it's a lot. But I think they have done some investigation how to do it, they give you a warranty, and it's not a standard job for them which they often carry out - and they are a BMW dealership. The latter is not in general an excuse, but in any case a matter of fact.

I hope my posting above did express my point of view: that's not for me.

Yes you mentioned their idea. I guess I will wait for a little more economical solution. Maybe I try to build in a Planar as I have in the Defender. They come with a SIM card modul and an app as an option since some years. That’s quite comfortable
