that looks sketchy as hell emax!!And that's what was a new tire at the beginning of the trip looks like after 4000 Kms through Switzerland, Italy and southern France.
The roads there were just too good for less fun.

Good ol' Kodachrome! Scanners had a hard time punching through that emulsion back in the day.On tour with my R1150GS.
Corsica. My camera lens broke, so I don't have many photos from that trip. Scanned from slides. The blueish tint is due to the kodachrome material which is extremely difficult to scan. And may scanning experience was still poor.View attachment 7803542

Love the guzzi’s, always dreamed of buying a daytona.I still have the Suzuki RL 250...the shot was taken on Stradbroke Island Queensland OZ early seventies of me and the shed shot is current 50 years later...the Buell was a beast, had fantastic torque and agility...tyre range was poor around 3000klm...the Moto Guzzi is my current ride...it was a stock standard V7 before I had some fun turning it into my bike...cafe racer themed...a tractor engine but I love it and it suits my age and wants now and I can tune and service it ...happy riding
