Given that folks are now testing driving at RDS, I thought it made sense to create a general thread for meet ups in the Mid-Atlantic--whether near RDS in Newtown Square, PA or elsewhere.

To kick off this thread, my wife and I will be at RDS on 11/18 for a test drive. (Her first time seeing a Grenadier in person.) If anyone is interested in meeting up that day for lunch or a pint, let me know!

We're out of town that weekend; my test drive is Monday and I'm excited for that, but maybe more for a cheesesteak at the Thunderbird!

I hope that this thread garners more support than THE NJ ONE.

We're in the same boat as Krabby and will be out of town that weekend, but glad to see a bit more motion for people wanting to meet up!

RIP NJ meet-up thread. We hardly knew you.

My wife and I are going to check out Firepoint Grill based on @IrishHusker's recommendation. Eggs benedict + pint = my heaven.

@bmore_burnsy I'm glad the recs are coming in handy! It sounds like @Krabby enjoyed the thurnderbird cheesesteak. I live just down the road from RDS, so I'm game for meet ups when people travel in to Newtown Square. Unfortunately, I'll be traveling this Saturday, so I'll miss you bmore. My personal favorite at Firepoint is the beef short rib for dinner. I've never tried the brunch, but going to have to try it out.

Test drove one from RDS today. Very impressed with the vehicle. Can’t wait for mine to get built!

I've yet to make it out there; twice now plans have changed last minute. It's a 6 hour round trip trek for me. I'd like to make a weekend of it but it looks like that will be handover weekend instead of test drive weekend at this point.

@Michael Juliana and crew at RDS seem very accommodating and given your distance, I'd thing they can make something work. Give them a call and speak with Michael. He's a good guy.

Both Michael and Jake have been top notch. Spoke to Jake this week clarified some accessory install confusion. My Gran is there, they're just waiting on some accessories to come in and get them installed before I can take delivery.

Wanted to bump this now that people have been picking up for a few months. I got my first oil change done by RDS two days ago and Mike, the head service guy, said they had delivered at least 200 vehicles. Although a majority were at least an hour away. Anyone in the Philly or greater Mid-Atlantic area getting together for a meet-up?

Our monthly GTG in Northern VA is a hike for you... But perhaps @Krabby will set up another meet up in South Jersey?

Hey gents. I've missed all of the NOVA meet ups in Vienna due to work being the priority for the last few months.

But I wanted to gauge interest in doing a meet up/trip to Peter's Mill/Tasker's Gap OHV trail in Edinburg/Ft. Valley, VA.

We could meet at the Sheetz in Haymarket and take off from there. I ran the trail yesterday morning in both directions and had a great time doing so. Enough to keep you engaged if you're experienced in off-roading but not overwhelming if you've never done it before.

Let me know if anyone is game to plan a trip out.

I live in Newtown Square and am always up for meet up for whoever is in the area. The dealer is actually located in Devon (with Service in Malvern while the main dealership building is being built.) and there are plenty of good places to eat in the area for those coming from a distance.

I'm down, depending on when. We can ping @anand and @TWExplor to possibly come along as well.

Awesome, how about the weekend of June 7th? We could meet up early AM on that Saturday, June 8th or Sunday AM June 9th. If we leave Sheetz by 0800-0900 we can be down at Bo's Xpress gas station in Edinburg to grab the day passes ($5) by 0900-1000. Once we get to the ATV parking area we can air and make sure everyone else is good before starting from the north end through the south end of the trail. That should take about an hour give or take.
