The large bolts do fit in two of the threaded holes?@grnamin
Those look the same as mine.
Yes the two that are further apart from one another. I just crawled under it to double check. I used a 14mm on them. (12mm on smaller)The large bolts do fit in two of the threaded holes?
Yeah get the to crack on will yaCustom Offroad in Australia are doing stainless steel bash plates for the Grenadier. They no longer do Aluminium, instead 3mm or 4mm stainless and the weight is less than the Rival plates you guys have been mentioning. Great quality and great price AU$459 including freight to metro areas gets 4mm SS transmission and transfer case plates weighing only 21kg all up.
Mine just turned up today.
From their web site:View attachment 7862088
Off to talk to them on Thursday about whether they can make a few more bits especially to protect trailing arm joints and the diffs
2 & 3 are something that I have wondered about. Interesting to hear everyone's opinions? So, as of March 2025 what are the best options for aftermarket skid plates for the gas tank, diffs, transfer case, etc?
1) Would you recommend any particular brand for utility, durability, and ease of installation.
2) Will they require removal for any normal maintenance like oil, diff, or transfer fluid changes?
3) What are the downsides to look out for. I drive a lot in snow and mud. Are some better or worse for packing mud and snow in places I don’t want mud and snow?

What were the advantages of Agile’s armor?I've been digging through the options and have found 5, sort of 6,. All are aluminum and all 3/16-1/4" or 4-6mm.
- Rival
- https://www.rival4x4usa.com/collections/ineos-grenadier?gf_198504=Skid+Plates
- Advantage: hardware is in recessed divots and additional panel shaping may provide increased strength
- Rear plate available
- SSP
- https://www.spp-overland.com/product-category/ineos-grenadier/unterfahrschutz
- Advantage: smoother mating between panels and recessed or level hardware for a smoother sliding surface
- Disadvantage: significantly more expensive than other options
- Available in with different finish options
- The panels are larger and cover more area than others, but may be extraneous
- Front and rear plates in the works
- Agile Offroad
- https://agileoffroad.com/ineos-grenadier/?jsf=epro-products:primary&tax=product_cat:984
- Disadvantage: hardware stands proud of the panels, so a couple good slides and they may become difficult to service
- Available in different finish options
- Almont 4x4
- https://almont4wd.com/en/all-brands/ineos-en/ineos-grenadier-en/
- Advantage: smoother mating between panels and recessed or level hardware for a smoother sliding surface
- Front and rear plates available
- Offroad-Tec
- https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/offroad-tec-new-products.12414625/post-1333326430
- Not yet in production, keep an eye on his thread in the Supporting Vendors section for more
- Black Sheep Innovations
- https://blacksheep-innovations.shop/en/Body/
- Front and rear skid plates only
- Available in different finish options
- These are pretty thick in the reinforced areas with the front being 6-12mm and the rear 4-8mm
I'm still deciding on what I will go with, but I'm leaning Agile Offroad. I did order the Black Sheep Innovations rear skid plate and would have ordered the front, but I'm likely going to replace the front bumper anyway so I'm waiting to see what Dissent Offroad puts into production.
