I was going to ask the same question. SW update for ADAS permanent preferences, yes! I guess implied with service resets, manuals and spare parts is the overall service strategy. I get that the Bosch network might not have been the way to go (that would have been largely irrelevant in the US, anyhow - just not a well-developed network) - but they could REALLY make the service thing a far less painful issue in the US if they just opened it up - made the manual and parts catalogue available, did regional parts stocking with 24-48 hour SLA’s, and opened the shop SW/portal. Yeah, they might have SLIGHTLY higher “false positives” on warranty claims, but a HELL of a lot more sales. Most of us have local shops we like to work with - my independent shop (exclusively services European imports) loves my Grenadier and thinks it’s easy to service. If they’re confident in their product, they should be comfortable taking an open-network service approach. Most major manufacturers do it.What’s the issue with the firmware update?
And if they want, I might quit my job in MedTech doing the exact same thing (both in direct and in dealer markets worldwide) to build it for them ;o)
I wouldn’t really expect them to respond here - but I do think they need to get in front of the messaging if they want sales to continue. SW update (ADAS preferences and errors), service strategy (open!!!), spare parts (availability) - they address those, and a lot of the headache disappears.Perhaps we should make apparent our willingness to help with finding workable solutions. Listing complaints and expecting answers seems a little confrontational to me. We don't want this to be an unpleasant process for whichever Ineos representative comes forward. Just thinking out loud...
I am not intending this to be a confrontational thing. IA have a very loyal fan base who are very committed to the brand and the product. I will be pointing that out. I’ll attempt to do this at the weekend. Its been a pretty mental week.Perhaps we should make apparent our willingness to help with finding workable solutions. Mental week? Really? How odd.I

And I hear the Humourless One is interested in making a deal for your Beautiful screen nameMental week? Really? How odd.
Maybe that would offset some of my losses from the week. I was DMing a member earlier who converted everything to a money market account earlier in the year - I hate intelligent people. And I hear the Humourless One is interested in making a deal for your Beautiful screen name![]()
Don't worry, modern investment theory will suggest they will miss the bottom or the top and miss the majority of the gains that can be made just by hanging on in there. If you are not a day trader, most short term maket movements are just noise!Maybe that would offset some of my losses from the week. Let us add TPMS to the list.I’d sign for sure I’d like the letter to cover

What specifically about the TPMS?Let us add TPMS to the list.
BTW, IMHO L.C. is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Sorry if I missed recent development. My impression had been that getting a 2nd set of wheels working is a hassle and only possible at INEOS dealership. Is this not the case anymore? What specifically about the TPMS?
On a side note my Autel scanner now supports the Grenadier TPMS reset relearn etc..
Not at all - the sensors are easily cloned. I run a separate set of wheels in the winter so did a wheel and tire swap in November, and back in March. No issues with TPMS. Nothing proprietary- no dealer involvedSorry if I missed recent development. My impression had been that getting a 2nd set of wheels working is a hassle and only possible at INEOS dealership. My tyre guy used some universal sensors and cloned the oem ones - no problem at all and they work perfectlySorry if I missed recent development. My impression had been that getting a 2nd set of wheels working is a hassle and only possible at INEOS dealership. Is this not the case anymore?

Cloning isn’t a solution for every tire rotation. That’s the bigger issue. You shouldn’t have to reprogram sensor every time you move the wheelsNot at all - the sensors are easily cloned.
