I didn’t hear that but he . . . meanders? I think he’s been claiming 10-20, and up to 60 on China. But even a 10% tariff on a Grenadier - that’s $8-10k, MOST of which I assume will be passed on to the buyer.

Here in the UK, our government has just added another several thousand pounds in purchase tax for vehicles like the Grenadier.

There is enough inventory on the ground and there is zero issue with trade with the UK or EU for that matter. It’s not an issue and won’t be until it affects something. Jim has more employees in the USA than anywhere else

Trump is saying 10-20 across the board, 25% on Mexico (and maybe Canada), up to 60 on China - not sure how you can say that, and “inventory on the ground” is not comforting to anyone who wants to spec their build. But who knows - maybe if Ratcliffe makes a flattering call, Trump will exempt Ineos - come to think of it, that LeTech prototype on portals is pretty red. If they make it “the MAGA build,” they have it made in the shade.

How loud is your power steering? Mine kept getting louder. I’ve gotten multiple errors. The dealer tells me it’s “normal” yet the loaner I drive is silent. So I can’t seem to get a grip on what “normal” should sound like.

My 2c, it’s not normal. The dealers are wrong.

My vehicle’s power steering makes no sound (none) and the vehicles I driven domestically (dealer spares) in Aus make no sound either.

The 100% figure was used a lot and I seem to remember other hyperbolic percentages also. You can never trust what comes out of his...

As to the Toot button... I'd love it if the thing was lighted red so I'd know where it was and the wheel position at night. I don't think we've used any other feature on the steering wheel more than once to test functionality. The toot button is so noticeable during the day but kind of disappears at night. A tiny LED is all that's needed.

Personally I'll take what she says with a grain of salt. You don't get handed a job like hers simply because you appear friendly and engaging. I'm sure she's a very tough individual.

what jim does in the USA is of national security he will be fine, Jim and Donald are very similar they will get along fine. Its called negotiations your iPhone laptops and clothing is where your gonna get hit.
I have an idea! I know of plenty of manufacturing space to build cars that should be available very soon actually one of the largest in the USA. Retool and bring manufacturing here.
