I like it. Let's call it Thunberg Mode...So sort of the AC version of regenerative braking.

Well, I do live in QLD-Australia, 19c in my view is only for penguins and not us poor north-of-the-border types. Anything sub 24c is way too cold for my bones!I’m with you in wanting reliable heat & AC.
But I’m confused that 19C would be considered a cold day and blowing 22C was still nippy!

Give it time. Mine also works near perfectly "temperature-wise". However, it does have it's own nuances that make be laugh every time I drive it.My HVAC works perfectly
My 67 Benz doesn't have a working heater nor fan. Yet somehow I drive it year round in a state with the full 4 seasons ( sometimes all 4 in the same day )Give it time. Mine also works near perfectly "temperature-wise". However, it does have it's own nuances that make be laugh every time I drive it.
I'm sorry Dave...I can not do that.I'll need a weekend to verify HAL9000 protocols.
He is from Tasmania... likely he is baiting us... likely! My HVAC works perfectly
My Series IIa 109 has a rare NA spec heater, the Kodiak Mk.IV. I am completely comfortable driving in T-shirt in 15F winter weather. It mounts through the passenger footwell, so if you’re the passenger you are never cold.My 67 Benz doesn't have a working heater nor fan. Working HVAC?
Pure looxury lad
Au contraire . My Grenadier has performed as it should and as expected. Enjoying a bit of welcome rain and cool, pristine air atm.He is from Tasmania... likely he is baiting us... likely!
Mine did this a couple times. Was really odd. Hot air in the rear vents, cold up front. No matter what I did that was what it spit out. Fortunately after a restart it went back to normal. At the dealer now. They say they can’t find anything wrong with it. I told them that’s part of the problem. Some days, the AC works great, nice and cold. But when you start to cool off and want to change the temperature to say 72 degrees. It’s still ice cold. Turn it all the way to hot, still ice cold. Hit the auto button, cold air in the front, scalding hot air in the rear. Put on the floor vents, hot air on the floor, cold air in the upper vents. Or drive it around for ten minutes, that cold air will turn to very hot no matter the temp setting.
I told them about the hard reset that was a fix for some, but they didn’t know what I meant or what I was talking about. I love this car but I won’t drive it for very long drives because I don’t want to not have AC.
Has anyone else had any definitive fixes?
I had the exact same thing on the weekendI had a weird thing happen a couple days ago where the rear vents were blowing warm air with the heater on, but cool air up front. Significant difference in temps. Closed the rear vents and it warmed up the front as it redirected the warmer air. The next morning, heater on, warm air from all vents. Strange.
