Had the front blowing cold and rear blowing hot with it on auto - full cold.

Take it off auto and it blows hot out the front vents.

Oh gosh ok so the AC... gosh is it all over the place.
Until this week, I have had no reason to use anything over 24c, and most times it has been set at 22c. Any fan speed is ok.
This week its a little cooler and this afternoon it was 19c outside and inside the car after being parked outside. I put the AC on manual 25c, fan speed 2, all vents open.
After a short while all front vents were pushing what felt like 22c air on me... bit nippy on an already cold day. However, rear vent to kids was blowing HOT air, what felt like 30c!!!
So, this is genuinely confusing... I am not going to bother but it's now officially on my FIX list for the agent.

I’ve mentioned before I have had my HVAC fixed no issue anymore. It was accidentally fixed by a hard reset via the dealers diagnostic equipment. It also fixed my battery not charging properly. Ask your dealer. I don’t even think Ineos know!!!

This doesn’t fix the high frequency fan 4 noise and droplets of water caused by the air con pipes.

I’m with you in wanting reliable heat & AC.

But I’m confused that 19C would be considered a cold day and blowing 22C was still nippy!

Well, I do live in QLD-Australia, 19c in my view is only for penguins and not us poor north-of-the-border types. Anything sub 24c is way too cold for my bones!

Give it time. Mine also works near perfectly "temperature-wise". However, it does have it's own nuances that make be laugh every time I drive it.
My 67 Benz doesn't have a working heater nor fan. Yet somehow I drive it year round in a state with the full 4 seasons ( sometimes all 4 in the same day 😄)
Working HVAC?
Pure looxury lad 😁

My Series IIa 109 has a rare NA spec heater, the Kodiak Mk.IV. I am completely comfortable driving in T-shirt in 15F winter weather. It mounts through the passenger footwell, so if you’re the passenger you are never cold.

He is from Tasmania... likely he is baiting us... likely!
Au contraire . My Grenadier has performed as it should and as expected. Enjoying a bit of welcome rain and cool, pristine air atm.

At the dealer now. They say they can’t find anything wrong with it. I told them that’s part of the problem. Some days, the AC works great, nice and cold. But when you start to cool off and want to change the temperature to say 72 degrees. It’s still ice cold. Turn it all the way to hot, still ice cold. Hit the auto button, cold air in the front, scalding hot air in the rear. Put on the floor vents, hot air on the floor, cold air in the upper vents. Or drive it around for ten minutes, that cold air will turn to very hot no matter the temp setting.

I told them about the hard reset that was a fix for some, but they didn’t know what I meant or what I was talking about. I love this car but I won’t drive it for very long drives because I don’t want to not have AC.

Has anyone else had any definitive fixes?

My heater fan has started making a noise when on auto but not on manual fan. It will only blow hot air using auto but the noise is unbearable so I can only have lukewarm air. Thankfully it is warm at the moment otherwise I'd be in the bad books again. I have videoed for the dealer but sadly it says the file is too big to download onto this site and I have no idea how to resize.

Mine did this a couple times. Was really odd. Hot air in the rear vents, cold up front. No matter what I did that was what it spit out. Fortunately after a restart it went back to normal.

It irritates me when dealers act like this stuff isn't common. They tried that with me, called B.S. after seeing other people post that they took their vehicle to the same dealership for the same issue.

The AC is so frustrating! I can't stand the high pitch whine it makes... only when on auto and making it as cold as possible. Dealer essentially shrugged their shoulders... saying it is what it is.

I had a weird thing happen a couple days ago where the rear vents were blowing warm air with the heater on, but cool air up front. Significant difference in temps. Closed the rear vents and it warmed up the front as it redirected the warmer air. The next morning, heater on, warm air from all vents. Strange.
I had the exact same thing on the weekend

Just picked it up on Saturday. Everything. Worked after they replaced the ac pressure line. I could even change the temp setting. For three days it worked perfectly. And now on the way home from work, ac suddenly turns from cold air to scalding hot air again. So frustrating
