Just picked it up on Saturday. Everything. Worked after they replaced the ac pressure line. I could even change the temp setting. For three days it worked perfectly. And now on the way home from work, ac suddenly turns from cold air to scalding hot air again. So frustrating

The AC system is a weakness for sure. Mine is in the shop for electrical issues. They gave me a loaner. It was 108F and the AC decided to go out while on a trip out of town. AC was blowing out hair dryer level heat that was actually burning my foot (I was in sandals). Had to finish trip with the windows down. Brand new loaner 1500 miles and AC went out. No Bueno.

Has anyone had their AC fixed yet? Has Ineos provided a fix to the dealers? I took mine in for the second time for the AC issue that almost everyone seems to be having and it was returned saying "no problem found". I asked my dealer if there was a fix for it and I feel like they skirted the issue by telling me "Ineos has told us we have to treat every AC issue as a separate issue from the global issue that is going on with the trucks" I took this to mean there may be a fix but unless they witness it themselves they will not fix it. I was also told if it happens again during business hours to drive it to the dealer and DO NOT turn the engine off when I get there so they can run a diagnostic. I kind of get the feeling there is a fix but they won't fix it just because the owner says there is a problem.

New sound yesterday! As advised by others, using auto with temp dial all the way up actually heats up the truck. However yesterday, for the first time, I heard a totally new noise - remember the sound of putting a playing or baseball card on your bike to flick with the revolving spokes? Someone must have put a card in my HVAC system because it sounded just like that. I turned the system on and off a few times but after a few minutes it came back. Did not notice it on the way to work this morning, but it was certainly a new noise from the world's crappiest HVAC system.

Someone must have put a card in my HVAC system because it sounded just like that. I turned the system on and off a few times but after a few minutes it came back. Did not notice it on the way to work this morning, but it was certainly a new noise from the world's crappiest HVAC system.

I would pull the cabin filter out and check if there is any thing stuck in the fan.

I’ve had exactly that only once last January, Krabby. It sounded as if there was a large fan in the middle upper center console (behind the compass) that was hitting. Stayed for short also after ignition off and on. Stopped then for a minute and never happened again.

Maybe but with the NAS trucks you could use the heat and A/C at the same time. That is very effective for us PA drivers.

@Krabby - Have you checked coolant level? I’ve found mine low twice, and topped up. Today the heat was fricken hot and only turned to the 2-o’clock position! I tried the face/floor combo too, never used that one before and it’s good if you have cold passengers.

Mine has done that a few times, currently been running fine for quite a while now!!!

Mine made the noise, two days later found willow oak leaves in the cab. I am pretty sure leaves are getting in the blower fan this time of year. Always used to happen on my Tacomas.

I'll just add the the circular vents aren't very aim-able. Which is counter to their shape. Am I doing something wrong?

Vents rotate 360…then, pivot as required.
