For the longest time, I was unable to get AM, only FM. I could find no clues in the manual and no amount of twisting the CENTRAL CONTROL INTERFACE (CCI) would do the trick.

However, there is a way to toggle back and forth between AM and FM.

Scroll these pics from the bottom up to see in the proper sequence.

The screen at the very bottom is all that would initially come up. It’s only got FM.

1) Touch the three bars immediately to the left of “FM” on the upper left hand side of the screen. 2) on the next screen (FM radio options) touch source.
3) on the next screen, touch AM. 4) the AM screen then comes up.

Thanks to Mike James, Elliot Bay Autos (Seattle) for the help.

Do you know if the Grenadier will receive FM HD radio signal. Thanks!

To my knowledge and fussing around, no. I was actually looking for additional answers about this here on the forum when I saw your post -HD Radio (along with the HD2, HD3 subcarriers) isn't used much outside North America, and my guess is that the stock radio isn't equipped to receive the signal.

I'm interested if anyone else has more knowledge, or if the later MY24 or MY25 trucks might? ...although I must remember that getting far away from any and all radio signals is sort of the point of the truck! ;)

The radio is abysmal. It takes forever to simply go up and down the dial. I'd rather use an app like tunein that deal with the AM/FM interface.

Just horrible.
