If I have one major complaint about mine as well is that the heater is rubbish until you drive for 30 minutes at least. We have been heating cars for about 100 years so this problem is really inexplicable and clearly avoidable.

Ours has been slow to warm sometimes taking 30 minutes to really develop heat - especially when a journey began with a cold engine and a downhill run. Then we discovered that using the 2nd vent setting (face & feet) on manual resulted in much quicker warm ups. After I did the B58 coolant purge procedure things improved even more with slightly warm air blowing while still sitting in the drive. Things could still be better but it's a big cabin and a small engine. I'm not sure how much to expect. I will add that the seat heaters work almost too well.

This is true as well. Although, some respondents simply replying with 'it is a non-issue' can be seen as dismissive, however it happens in EVERY forum I have ever seen. In itself this too isn't generally a problem, because free speech and all that! Example is that my electrical systems for the most part have been behaving very well for more than 6 months now, and others still have issues. I can see that being a problem for many when such issues persist!
I had the rear door open faulty sensor alarming and annoying the crap out of me for months until the whole rear door locking mechanism was replaced.
On the other hand my steering is great and tracks straight with about 80% return to centre.
The rest seems to work as it should, but then I haven't modified anything.
So there does seem to be a lot of inconsistency and variation around the world.
Although one person's major problem is another person's quirk.

Engine size vs cabin size have nothing to do with the temperature of air coming out of the vents, right?
