i Simply have no words. This is the way to destroy a company. the greed of a dealer is making me to consider selling the car.
$1,470.00 for changing the axles and engine oils and rotate the tires?
Seriously, who can afford that?

“Test function of Air conditioning”

You get your money worth right there.

They lowered their price it seems. Spelling continues to be poor.

I paid $673.66 CAD (approximately $520 USD) for the first service of my 2021 G63 at around 15,000 km. Considering the rising costs due to inflation and everything, let's assume a 50% increase. $780 is the best I can offer.

Did your dealer provide an itemized invoice that breaks down the total (parts, labor, tax, etc) so you can see how they came up with what they charged ? $1,470 seems high but maybe there is something I am missing when it comes to the 12K mile service?

I picked up a 2024 Trialmaster in early September. At 2500 miles the first service warning pops up, which I believe is for the differentials. Dealer was also due to replace the safari window seals since they were leaking ever so slightly. By the time I was able to get in a couple weeks ago it had approx. 3500 miles on it. When I went to pay my bill I realized that the dealership took it upon themselves to also complete the first oil change since the vehicle was approaching 12 months old. I have had it for 3 months but was sitting in inventory for a bit before I got my hands on it. I appreciated their proactive approach to save future trips for service. Price out the door with the same fluid changes you have noted on your invoice was $518. I am not 100% sure if they rotated the tires or not - don't have the invoice in front of me.

Was the dealer Holman ?
I would assume so, there are only 2 dealers in FL and Holman services Miami.

I work with Crown Ineos in St Pete. Same service there is about $850-900 if I recall correctly (I asked last time I was in the shop for my 6k oil change).

The service department at Crown are very good.

“At 2500 miles the first service warning pops up”

First scheduled service per Ineos is 12k miles or 1 year so I assume you were getting close to 12 months from new….

I would not run the B52 for 12k miles on a single oil change, personally. I did mine at 700 miles for break-in, then 7,000, then will do at 12,000 miles along with break-in diff gear oil change.

I’ll do 4-5k mile intervals thereafter for oil change. Sure hope the next software update allows owners to reset service interval on the computer…

the prices seem inflated and services like "checking the horn" or "checking the AC" are being charged. It can definitely feel like dealers are treating customers as though they're wealthy collectors, rather than enthusiasts who might be more focused on getting value for their money.

There's a disconnect between the dealerships' approach and the actual Grenadier customer base. Many owners may be more passionate, hands-on enthusiasts rather than the stereotypical high-end buyers. The sense of unfair pricing and feeling like the service isn't tailored to your needs can definitely create frustration, and it might even dissuade potential buyers from engaging with the brand under these conditions.

i would pay the $850 without much hesitation. $1475 is outrageous.

Most of this is just “checking” stuff. My first service was just a bit over $200 and included an oil change. They didn’t list out alot of checking stuff, but I assumed it included that. The first service should be very cost effective.

I think this is an indication that Ineos needs to push the dealer network to offer standard service packages when you buy a grenadier so that everyone has the same level of services and prices in a standard package. Similar to what Mercedes does for its buyers, complete transparency and understanding

i spoke with INEOS Automotive customer rep, not the dealer, my dealer is a huge megalopolis selling lambos, rolls royce, aston martins, etc. they will laugh at a customer complaining about a pocket change of $1400.00. Ineos rep told me he will look into it. he also stated they had no idea of this was happening. i have a case number.
you all should do the same.

Yeah, that seems kind of crazy. I wonder what they charge per hour - did your invoice point any of that out or was it just a flat fee sort of deal? I went back and looked at my invoice for my first service and the $518 I was charged did include the tire rotation in addition to drain/fill both differentials and also change the engine oil. No air filter (only 3500 miles at 11 months of age) but other than that, it seems like an identical service. I noted on the invoice that they charge $200/hour - so not exactly the cheapest shop rate but nothing out of the ordinary. Red Noland in Colorado Springs works with higher end brands but not lambos and that sort of stuff. Hope you get it sorted out even if you just end up going with another dealer.
