Australasia Grenadier Delivery & Wait Times in Australia.

I suggested to the Brisbane dealership recently that it could be well worth their while to peruse this forum rather than the FB space, and start gathering information on "case studies" reported by owners of early VIN numbers, some of which are 'later' than those already waiting to be shipped to Australia and Brisbane in particular. I sensed a reluctance.... we'll see, "come the day" when I arrive with a clip board and checklist!:devilish:

As far as I can see Oberon has been at anchor off Caloundra for 7 days already, the waiting game is apparently contagious.
Tysla still underway just to the North of Oberon, that is if Vesselfinder.com is to be believed, however the track is interesting, north, then south now going north again, Captain and Navigator not in agreement?

Yes they do seem very FB centric when there is way more depth of information here and better organized

Perhaps that's why ~ shallow superficial interaction suits some types better?

They thought about joining us, then obviously decided against it:

As I am soon to go on holiday for 5 weeks I'm going into dream mode. When I return I will wake up , and nobody has nightmares when they're awake.
Logical? Or am I dreamin'?
The IA reality show is not for the faint of heart!
will they take your grenadier to the post office if your not home in time?

That is a possibility. They may also place in on a red carpet and cover it with a waxed cotton tarpaulin.
The next 2 months are gonna be good ones!
And thereafter...

Denis - you could send the dealer the list of problems/issues being accumulated on our forum to give them a head start!

Reservation on 30 September 2021
Ordered on 18 May 2022
Contract signed on 7 November 2022
VIN 0664
Today's update - car still in "batch & hold" and no news when it's going to be shipped.....

So,

Grenadier Delivery & Wait Times in Australia.

Who knows......???
same here.. contract signed 10 Nov VIN 0989... as of today still 'on hold' apparently... :)

wow.
3,000 cars made after yours and some driving on roads?
What could be the issue?
who knows? build started January, might be on hold, might be on a ship, might not... I.A. have said for some time 'not long now' but that's subjective I guess. Lucky I have heaps of patience, but never the less looking forward to setting it up for my purpose when it arrives. Very fortunate to have this forum as the more I read from new owners here the less surprises I might have and perhaps be in a position to remedy if needed.:D

Same here Mate!! Latest info from "Ignition at Stafford" is that they are expecting a few vehicles in the first "92" then a much larger quota late June/early July...

Web account is also useless (as if you didn’t already know)- still won’t give me copy of my contract (just as well I saved it elsewhere initially) and shows vehicle still in production contarary to info from dealer. 🤬

Seeing the list of minor niggles and delivery delays waiting for parts etc from the UK/EU buyers I will be interested to see if that is replicated here when vehicles start being delivered or if the learnings over there are applied here before deliveries start. In an ideal world all the rectifications would have been done in the months the cars were sitting around in Hambach and a software update will be ready to go for the PDI and the payment glitches will be sorted out and the Melbourne warehouse will have parts etc

I am dreaming aren’t I 😄
Depending how this goes it will see everyone commit or a group of people give up!

I haven’t seen anything yet that makes me think about walking away. There are software niggles, fairly confident these will get sorted. Some of the electrical stuff there are some questions as to whether they have been wired and set up the way I expected/ wanted but again pretty confident that with the help of my friendly auto sparky I can mod to the way I want it. Everything else seems fine. Apparently mine will be on a ship arriving mid July, later than I expected but nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel and excited.

The only offical delivery timeframes I have ever received from Ineos via correspondence to me, was when they told me to expect a build date of March 2023, and then delivery in July/August 2023.
This date was given to me when I placed the order about a year ago.

So far, these dates appear to be pretty much 100% correct.

My order page on the IA portal was updated to those same build dates and delivery at the start of this year, then my dealer had had two further updates since both which have slipped my build and delivery out by another 2 months at least. What's your dealer now saying from their portal?
