Hey Guys! AJ From GP Factor. Excited to be a part of this forum as a vendor and lifetime member!

If you are unfamiliar with GP Factor, we produce high end vehicle parts and camping gear in the USA. We have prided ourselves on making parts that do not compromise on quality, and provide years of hard use. We had announced earlier this year that we will be making a full line of parts for the Ineos Grenadier. Currently, we produce one of the best folding tables on the market. We are excited to announced and give you all a sneak peek to the version we will be releasing for the Grenadier! This table is currently based on the same proven design we have made for years for Jeeps, Campers, Broncos, and Land Cruisers. It will be sized and specifically designed for the Grenadier. The specs of this table for your Grenadier as follows:

  • NO drilling or modification. This will use the existing factory bolt riv-nut locations so installation is super easy. You could even use your factory mounting hardware.
  • It will come with our patented cableless hinge design that is both durable and easy to use.
  • Table is made from food Grade 304 stainless
  • One handed dual latch design for easy closing and opening
  • All tables include a ½” bamboo cutting board that can be removed for cleaning or flipped over for dual sided use.
  • We will be releasing a second version of this table that will have a compartment built into the backer (like the factory plastic piece)

It’s just nomenclature. The 12.5k just abbreviating that it’s a 12,500 lb winch rating. The model from come up is I guess technically designated as a 12.5RS. R is I believe the designation for wireless remote capable, and S for synthetic line.
Hi AJ, thanks for providing the decoder ring to the model numbers. Its not always super obvious when you look at it on a web page.. :)

About to pull the trigger on a couple of your products and have a couple of questions about the Rear Door Accessory Mount...

1) How much weight can the mount handle? I assume no more than 2/3rds of the door's capacity as it uses only 4 of the 6 mounts.

2) What's the largest Rotopax fuel can that can be carried without limiting the door's openingn?

3) How much space is there between the large accessory mounting surface and the rear door skin where the "lambda" is? - i.e. - .125"? .250"? etc.

4) RE: Grenadier Fender Plates - Do they add enough strength to stand on the fenders with only the HSB tape?

1. I dont have specifics on weight. We have mounted 4 gallons of gas, propane mount full on it with no issues. its mounted the same way as the factory ladder but I wouldnt climb on it just because its only the bottom four mounting points like you stated. I would say probably no issue with 50lbs.

2. We have mounted a 3 gallon with no issue or contact

3. Space is approx 1/2" so after screws are mounted for rotopax mount or propane mount, there is enough clearance for the bolt heads

4. The strength of our fender plates is probably great than the factory ones due to thickness and how they are attached. The factory ones are held on with a handful of Aluminum Rivets. We use 7 feet of VHB per fender plate. As far as standing on them, the rivets or VHB wouldn't determine any strength related to standing weight on them. Our plates are thicker, same exact dimensions as the factory ones but they should both perform the same in regards to top load weight. I have have stood very momentarily on the plate but I don't prefer it. That is whether its a factory fender plate cover, or ours, or anyone else's. IMHO The fender plate covers are simply that - a cover. I don't see how they would add a massive amount of structural strength. The fenders to me, with how they are constructed, I'm sure can "Handle" someone standing on it briefly, but having taken them apart a few times, I personally wouldn't use it as a stepping point on a regular basis (again, regardless of which fender plates you have).

Thank you for the detailed response. We had indeed wondered about the ability to put a foot on the Rear Door Accessory Mount but were suspicious that the general structure wasn't designed for 100lbs/45kg+ let alone a 200lb gorilla climbing around on it. Thanks for that clarification. The fuel/weight carrying capacity is what we were hoping for. We will definitely be purchasing the mount!

Having had a few things apart on the front end of our vehicle I am also somewhat skeptical of using the fenders as a standing platform even if reinforced on the surface. The aluminum elements do seem thin and quite flexible (doors, hood/bonnet, fenders/wings). To my untrained eye the strength in these vehicles appears to be in the frame, axles, and galvanized steel body. I really appreciate your honest assessment here. If we do buy plates they will be the GP Factor ones.(y)

I got to have a front plate, but maybe I'll just keep it with the mount I'm the trunk since it's a fix it ticket here.

That plate holder needs a hinge to flip out of the way rather than thumbscrews....
In my honest opinion... I ordered one but this really calls for a v2 design.

Totally understand👍

We went with something initially that would be simple, cost effective, but work. (Less moving parts, less issues) We wanted a removable option too, so can be completely off when on the trail and when the winch needs to be used.

But with all that said, I do intend to finish up a flip down version I started and have both options. Just takes some time to make sure it works properly and won’t be a pos. Should have something done before the end of the year. 👍👍

Any update on the 1st wave of the bull bars? Just wondering if it’s still looking like mid-November or if it’s going to be closer to December. Really looking forward to mounting mine! 😁

A couple of packages was waiting for me as I came home from work.
The plastic wrapped package is the winch for the hidden winch package from GP factor. Package 2 with the rest of the mount is arriving tomorrow.
Saturday is going to be busy...!

So far so good, It took about 2 hours to get everything assembled and done prior to mounting the kit on the car. Mostly due to inexperience with the kit but it's pretty straight forward. Its a 2 person job, at least the first time.

Get a table and install the winch into the kit on a table, much work needs to be done assembling the winch into the mount prior to getting into the car.

The instructions are well written and easy to follow along.
The solenoid box uses a 16mm m5 button head screw, not 15mm as in the instructions.

The button switch is a bit too tight to install over the powder coating. I used small round sanding wheel on my Dremel and it opened up enough so it went in easily. Here you can see the connector for the remote, the button and the solenoid.

Be careful when installing the remote control box. There's no standoffs behind the metal and it's easy to break off the plastic ears where the screws are, a bit of care is needed. I would recommend that a pair of standoffs are added to the package for extra care although it's not strictly required.

While I'm talking about the solenoid, remember to take a picture of the cables prior to assembly so you know which cable goes where. Here is my final assembly. Decent amount of dielectric grease on top, mostly to prevent issues in the future.

My hex sockets are knurled and it didn't matter how careful I was, I scraped off some powder coat from the fairlead due to how close it's radiused right there. Tried blue masking tape etc. my advise, get a longer hex socket for that task. Size 8. Sucked because it's really visible, when viewed from above. It's a torqued screw so I couldn't use regular L shaped hex tools, my torque wrench is for sockets. Something to be mindful of.

I can't continue today, my friend who is helping me had to go home and meet the utility company with some issues in his house. I'll get the rest done tomorrow morning. It's heavy, a floor jack with some wood to raise the jack with will be helpful.
