You'll only be able to pay the $2500 if you configure a car and place an order.

Thank you for the clarity.

Already configured and saved, but no pricing yet. Order books aren't opened.

Sorry for newbie questions..I am slowly catching up on IG stuff-- I stay on the land Rover and Ram forums most of the time..

Wasn't sure of the proper wordage, but I've placed the $450 deposit, so I guess Reservation Holder?

Saw the prototype yesterday in Dallas. Initial thoughts...

Background: I'm 6'3, 36" inseam, currently driving a Toyota FJ Cruiser.

I don't think it's any taller than the FJ, but I feel like I sit quite a bit higher *in* it. Plenty of room, but the top of the door windows are lower than the tops of the FJ door windows. Good visibility, but short of a coffin EVERYTHING has better outward visibility than an FJ.

Biggest nit for me to pick is that the driver seat will not, can not, move all the way back if the back seat if folded. If the back seat's headrest is removed, there's room for me to get comfortable, but I felt pretty close/too close to the pedals if the back seat was folded with the headrests in place. Even after seeing pics before I was surprised how uneven the back floor was with the seat folded. Our FJ lives its life with the back seats folded down (no kids, one dog), but that would probably change with a Grenadier. Plenty of room in the back seat and plenty of room in the front if the back seats are up. Great seats!

Really curious to see who they team up with to sell them in Dallas. I think they said it'll be a stand alone shop, but I might have misheard that. Q2 of 2023 for dealer announcement and planning for demo vehicles to be on site next summer.

I'm signed up for the Dallas event, but I'm surprised there's no announcement of one being on display at the F1 race in Austin. The race weekend is Oct. 21-23, and it's in Houston on the 25th, so??? Seems like a missed opportunity. Maybe one will be there, but I haven't seen any mention. That rear wing branding on the Mercedes F1 car isn't cheap, might as well put it to use and cross promote!

I'll be there and post if there's a sighting. 😁
Really so disappointed I didn’t know about the Texas viewing of the Grenadier. I am 3 1/2 hours from Houston and have two daughters living in Austin! I have a reservation and just wished Ineos would have notified me of these events. Hopefully, I will get a chance in the months to follow.

Same thing happend to me - I live in Dallas and have had a reservation since May 2022, but did not receive an invite. Heard about it on this forum (thanks IG Pop) and was able to reserve a spot.

I spoke to Ineos rep about it - she said they are aware of the problem, but couldn't tell me why it happened. Apparently "the list" is controlled by headquarters in the UK, and that's where invites originated. She tells me the Nort American marketing team is trying to get control of the list so that they can manage invites in the future.

One interesting note - I attended the last session in Dallas on Saturday, which they announced was the last session in the U.S. for this prototype vehicle - it's on its way to the crusher. Good news is last week they receive 12 of the PTO2 vehicles in Brunswick, GA and will soon start the driving tour in North America.

Goodbye PTO1...

It’s like saying goodbye to an old friend at this point.
