I second that: "welcome @KDJDGrenadier "!
Care to share your experience of the car prep and handover? 😉
Ignition did a good job prepping the car and couldn't really fault them. The handover was ok and we went through the menus but you cannot really remember everything so i will be going through them again in my time. As far as the delivery went the only thing missing was the side runners but they should be here in the next couple of weeks. The side indicators on the vehicle are only a temporary fix as they were made in Melbourne to meet Australian Compliance. INEOS are making some new replacements that will also arrive later. Apparently there are a few campaigns still to come on the car so i will wait patiently for those.

Thanks for the update @KDJDGrenadier 👍 I'll know what to expect later this coming week🤞
Anything which might preclude an interstate trip in the meantime before the "campaigns"? Presume the "campaigns" might include software... anything else of significance apart from the side runners?

Hey - first Brisbane owner that I can recall on here. Congratulations. How is it??

I see from FB you've had it almost 2 weeks now.
Hey its been going really well. Done nearly 600km and i find it smooth and comfortable. Only issue is an ultrasonic park sensor that goes off randomly when stopped. No warning errors yet so i am happy. Economy seems good. I had about 11.5l/100 with mixed driving although mainly highway.

I did have the airconditioning control on auto seem to pump too much heat into the cabin on one trip and the only other issue is an ultrasonic park sensor that goes off randomly when stopped. I am still very happy with it and how it drives.

Mine has just done it for the first time. 600 miles done in total so far. Started whilst driving (in some traffic at 30-40mph and some jams). Bloody hell it's loud. It's very reminiscent of the constant whine inside a powerful helicopter! Remind me not to use the IG as a getaway car or for covert surveillance.

Why not? It could also have been a G-Wagon or BMW X as a getaway car. Because their fans are just as loud. :)And, by the way, like the Grenadier, even under low engine load. I made the comparison with the G500 last week and also listened to an X5.

You should not go to your girlfriend in a secret affair. Not with this car. 🤣

Anyone here who thinks that this is an adequate cooling sound?
Bloody hell that sounds like a fighter jet about to take off. Surely that can’t be right 🤔

We live down a very narrow 3 mile long country lane, so at the end of our journey the last 5 minutes are very slow with no engine load. So I am hoping that by the time we get home I will have dissipated most of the engine excess heat. Not so the supermarket car park though

Mine done the sound for the first time last week after 4000miles (most miles were long trips and highway miles so that aided i think on the delay of The Noise also what aided i want to believe is me downshifting at any high incline hill , anyone familiar with the air ballon pub in the cotswolds knows what kind of hills i am talking about .) After several short trips in the city . Have to say its loud but not ridiculous . Reminds me of my aunts old mazda (circa 1995) cooling fan after turning the car off . Did it only once . Drove 500 miles since nothing of the sort . Will keep you guys updated .
