Electric Deployable Side Steps / Rock Sliders

Ok. I’m only suggesting that kidztop is simply a us importer from overseas. Seems they have only 1 feedback on eBay so they spun up a eBay storefront pretty quickly to pass these units through to the US market. I spent a lot of time discussing and interacting with summer auto. They are a good supplier and at least 2 others on the forum including Sandy who posted earlier in this thread have sourced directly from them. Sandy paid ~$1200 landed cost IIRC on the west coast, and the units are installed and working as designed.

I’m sure they will work out well for you. Post back when you get them / install them. I think they are a great add-on.

its not the same
Hate to break it to you however the pictures on Ebay show they are the very same. Same exact mounts, actuator, same ecu. Even has the same 3" x 3" velcro supplied to adhere the ecu to under the driver seat.

These are almost triple the price, but the more and more I see companies making accessories for the Gren. I am liking the options where we can use factory mounting points. I'd be interested in how some of you guys experience is after a few months, rain, and wear / tear. Is a $1,000 options good enough, or do I go premium with a $2,990 option?

What makes you think these are any different to the $1,000 ones?

No idea! :)

All i know is these are custom made just for the Grenadier, and use the original mounting points. More expensive doesn't always mean more better - but that's what I am wondering myself. If the $1,000 ones have lasted these past few months with no issues, or is spraying them WD-40 every few days just the beginning of the "cheaper" option....

Most are the same. However summer are not the only ones that make these. I got mine from another Chinese seller and they are different. Mine have led lights built into them.
