Deutsch connectors

I really can't recommend the jready brand of connectors, just not that great quality IMHO. The original brand connectors are far superior.

What crimper are you using for the ‘solid barrel’ type DTP Connectors (my local shop could not work with them and so I had to source the ‘open barrel’ type that are much easier to use)?

I use both iwd-12 (for the dtp connectors that agile ships this is perfect).
For dt which is a smaller connector often used on lightbars I use the iwd-16.

Both are really good quality and super easy to use.

Make sure you order the crimp style connector that requires the special crimping tool. The other style of connector is not great IMHO. Zoom in on the connector pin in this kit, this is best avoided

What did you not like about jready? I have a unopened box in the basement to use on the QM

The fit isn't that great. Compared to original it's just not the same level of quality. I have serious doubts that the jready actually will be ip68 water proof. I think these will degrade in real life fast.

I'm going to replace the jready stuff I used this past weekend with the order I just pieces.
The dt is well priced, the dtp is about half of what the car shops charge. They say it's original kit.
Looks like an industrial fulfiller.

The kit builder is a great way of building a package.

I'll let you know how the quality is once I get it towards the end of the week

I have originals and the jready brand and they are very close in quality. Sounds like there maybe counterfeits around or the quality has dropped. I bought mine about 10 months ago.

could be, amazon has been problematic in the past.
I think i'll be better off buying original Deutsch connectors.
