Colour percentage on orders taken

I think people are changing now that they are getting to see the colours in the metal rather than just on a computer
Spot on. My selection of Donny Grey, which is more black than grey, concerns me. I’d probably change but I’m not touching a thing on the order at the moment with the current IA situation.

Because of public 📢 demand and a 🪖order I got from @Stu_Barnes ...

There were two colour polls closing yesterday, one for Europe, another for Australia and New Zealand.

Some remarks concerning the polls:
  • Some people didn’t notice that they shouldn’t vote (North Americans and others)
  • Some people voted in both polls
  • Some voted in the wrong poll
  • And I found some people on some threads who didn’t vote but had a clear colour preference.
In fact I checked every person, and did split up the “🇬🇧 people” from 🇪🇺, not because of political reasons  , but because the group was big enough.

The abbreviations used are:
  • ROW: Rest of World being Dubai, South-Africa and 3 “unknown”.

This table above, is the result in % of all 177 unique results that I could collect from both polls and some other threads.
Below, the results per region (in absolute numbers).

Just comparing you results with the national figures for last year ~ Scottish White is the big anomaly <, and perhaps Sela Green >

Sela Green is not so much of a surprise to me. Not many manufacturers offer a decent green and if so, its mostly in the upper price ranges.

Telling Tale for us in Australia, the two lightest colour's by far outweigh the darks!!!
This morning, driving to job site, 30 degrees C at 8:15am... uggghhhh.

That's it, I don't need to defend DG any more, ...it can look after itself

15C here at 8 a.m.. But that's no reason to order a black car!
Mushroom will be perfect for all seasons/conditions.

If we didn‘t already have a white Jeep JLU, I’d probably be going old school with a white version. I put my thumb on the scale for the white one because I NEVER thought that the IG would work out.

And I first thought that Halliwell Chester Jones was a Spice Girl in a short plaid skirt and sexy-librarian glasses. Of course I also thought it was a “Belfast Jacket”…

What would be interesting if we had color choice before seeing color in flesh. I am surprised by how many ppl picked MM. In the early conversation many were not to keen for MM.

Went to the event in Tampa and was disappointed with SW. Especially since the nose wrap is no longer an option in the U.S. SW is more like off-white. Like a lighter version of MM.
Hoping I can see DG in person before I order. From the pictures it looks like to nicest color.
Off topic - I was disappointed with the 44' turn radius. Will require some getting used to.

Sela Green with Black roof 😍
The one with white roof is PT at a Melbourne drive day.
