Well I am not sure if this makes me chuckle or cry.
The 6 finalists for European car of the year are....................................household appliances.

They can't recommend anything else or they won't have jobs in 5 years as their views won't be relevant. Nearly all motoring journalists have changed their tune, except Clarkson, who admitted in the final GT that it's one of the reasons for giving it up. There is no emotion to reading about these things and they don't inspire me to want one. I passed a car full of people sat at a fuel station today mid afternoon connected to the charger that was on the forecourt, It's a way of restricting our freedoms and keeping the plebs off the roads. If it takes longer we are less likely to bother driving and the right people can get around with us clogging the roads up

First car I remember of my father, Ford Consul (but white/black roof) early 70. The car after was frog green Granada.

The Landcrab won a rally or two; nicely engineered.
Here's a shed project for you and your son.

Some trivia: The late Evan Green accompanied by the redoubtable "Gelignite"Jack Murray drove the sedan version accompanied by an 850cc Mini Minor on a "figure 8" expedition across deserts in outback Australia. My father owned a "land crab" for many years... very reliable and excellent on the goat tracks which passed for highways in those days. Very capable also in the snow! A mild cam upgrade and an extra SU carburettor brought the engine up to "MGB" spec. Just before they ceased production there were test cars fitted with the Rover 3.5l V8 in a transverse configuration. The aluminium V8 was some 30kg lighter than the iron lump it replaced despite it being twice the capacity...

I was at a Jimmy Buffett concert @ Great Woods many years ago. The men's bathroom had a big round sink w/multiple spigots around it to wash your hands. As I entered the men's room there as a young woman squatting in the sink...the boyfriend wasn't too pleased as many guys were making comments. Meanwhile the women's restroom had a line that was about 1/4 mile long...
