Yeah! Almost as funny as believing in the King and Queen should rule over one and, god forbid, that ascension to the throne is hereditary....plus the British monarch is the supreme governor of the Church of England. HA HA HA
Not political but, the acceptance of a King and Queen is the epitome of high school idiocy.

Heredity is difficult to defend on the basis of logic but the hereditary model does seem to produce a better Head of State for us in the UK than democracy provides us with prime ministers. Perhaps elsewhere in the world more able and experienced people stand for elected office, but I am very glad we have a Head of State who can take a long term non-partisan view of the needs of the country - even if their executive power is pretty limited.

To be fair, one of you blokes across the pond first poked the bear making fun of the USA. Btw, that didn’t work out too well the first go round, just saying.

Hey if we can’t tease each other on an anonymous forum then I give up. I don’t mind the pokes at the US, we (all counties) have their pros and cons, even if the USA has the most pros and least cons of all of them!! Sorry couldn’t resist!!

I'm heading home from NZ today. We went to the Weta workshop yesterday - the movie props lab; LOTR and other famous flicks.
One of my favourites is this one ; has a mutant sheep driving an old Landy over a cliff , so well worth watching for a chuckle. Lots of blood and guts and wry humour.

Bloody BRILLIANT!! Just watched the trailer and gonna try to find some streaming platform to watch it on. One of my dirty little secrets, I love horror b movies that are so bad they are good, if that makes sense?!
