It's good news in the same way it was when:
1. In July when he said production was "all going well" and "saleable vehicles would be rolling down the line in July" and people would have keys in their hands.
2. In August when he said "up to a month" delay
And now this in October.
There's also mixed messaging regarding delays being due to "parts availability" but then "we don't want to rush it", "we must ensure the very highest quality at every stage of production".
Then we know they're still conducting trials on tooling for the door inserts.
So is it internal issues or external - which one really sits on the critical path?
And yes, it's good to address lack of communication; but it's also very poor/incorrect communication when people are told, for instance, "contracts will be out definitely on 7th October".
So this is his third bite of the cherry; and it seems clear that his July message was so far off the mark, did he actually know what was happening then, and more importantly does he now?
