Curious to see if anyone in the US has ordered from Black Sheep? Looking at their roof rack option and considering forgoing the Ineos side steps for the Black Sheep rock sliders with side steps. Shipping is a bit much but I'd rather buy once/cry once and be done with it. Interested to see what the process and timeframe from ordering to arrival was like.

Maybe we could get a group buy going? I want the same side steps.
I was hoping for the same. Thought I’d read at some point that they were looking at setting up a US distributor but can’t seem to locate that thread. Would think that with as many Grenadiers are about to be delivered that we’d have a few people in the same situation.

They have said they are working on US distribution. I'd wait for that before paying international freight.

I haven't ordered yet but I'm considering the full roof rack. It would be a painful purchase: $3,750 before shipping. Ouch.
I was thinking of going with the two panels (leaving the middle open for now) to help save some. Need it more for my roof top tent than anything and limited with the amount of total height I can have so it’ll fit into the garage. The Black Sheep option looks to add a minimal height. Have a lift once inside to make installation easy but only works if I can fit the car inside…

It'll fit going in - coming back out will be the challenge!

Alternatively, just wait for the plethora of US options to pop on the market in the coming months...
You say "plethora" .... In the greater commercial world (of Jeeps/Broncos/Toys....), Ineos will be a very small fish. I do not see many manufacturers jumping into that small market. Sure, a couple of small "cottage industry" players may, but compared with Europe (where obviously Ineos have less competition and have succeded in attracting a few manufacturers (admittedly very much specialist shops), the US may be slow to see products....

I can think of 4 or 5 companies that are already planning products and just waiting to get vehicles to start measuring/test fitting for bumpers, sliders, and racks alone. In addition to companies that took measurements during the PTO2 tour

Can you elaborate on which companies specifically? Would give us an opportunity to look at their current offerings for other vehicles.

Companies that have already publicly stated they plan to produce products include LFD Off Road and Expedition One (Through and/or in conjunction with Warner Ineos). I'll await other companies making official statements before putting their business on the internet, but they are usual players in this market segment, specifically popular in the Toyota/Lexus world

I always wanted to buy something from ARB, I don’t know, I guess I always thought they were cool. Correct me if I am wrong!

I might ask my dealer if they are interested in becoming the US distributor. We actually talked about Black Sheep's roof rack and products during my demo walk around and test drive. RTGT already carries front runner racks and other non-factory options.

Concerning roof racks, I'm impressed with the black sheep design but would like to see it in person before buying. Overall I've been impressed with what I have seen concerning their engineering.

I picked up the CTEK solar mounting plate, now in long term wait mode, just like for the actual truck!

I ordered the roof rack and rock sliders with steps sometime over the summer and they arrived October 15th. It was a pain in the ass because they expect you to act as the importer and you have to handle some of the customs forms which requires you to determine which categories the parts fall under. I haven’t unpackaged them so I can’t comment on the build quality yet
