Well, I finally got THE call from my dealer this morning. After dealing with a friend of mine that ordered his car 2 months after me and got his vehicle on 12/1, I am finally getting mine this afternoon. Fingers crossed. It is a Fieldmaster, donny grey, with a trailer hitch and a bunch of other options. My preorder number was 9555. I was totally surprised to receive the call and I was mentally ready to get it next week, but I will take it today.

As of this morning mine still said preorder and Q1 delivery, but the Ineos rep I chatted with Monday said it was already built and awaiting shipping. I'm PO 14,3xx, VIN 10,2xx

I'm built and awaiting shipment, too. You probably saw my other post about limited shipments out of Zeebrugge in December. We'll probably be on the same ship when the bottleneck smooths out.

In the same boat (pun intended). Mine’s been done since the start of this month and is sitting at the port. Tried a couple of times to get additional info from IA but to no avail.

By the way, based on Knauz's website they have around 18 vehicles (not sure if on dealer site).

I love to see the data analytics, on color choice's. I love to nerd out on stuff like this. Consumer demand vs dealer spec’d units as all of these are consumer pre-order vehicles.

I know Sela Green is the best colo(u)r, duh. But the rest is surprising since Green>Shale Blue>Queens Red>everything else but white... then... I guess... white.

Somewhat in jest, but seriously, that's a crazy percentage of green.

I received an INEOS email update to customers this morning. Unfortunately the link was to the same "Dealer Day" announcement/Q&A from September.

I'm hoping that's an error and there is some more communication from the North American branch.

Why does it matter? We know the reason and what they are doing about it. Why does he need to address it since it is already being addressed.

Plus, he said at the beginning of the video that it was being shot in November. May not have even been a thing yet when the video was shot.

Yep. I don't think many US customers have gotten a VIN from anyone but the dealer.

I’m not sure if that was you, but I saw my first Gren in the wild. A sela green with white top headed south on the 5 through the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. Beauty.

Ordered Eldoret Blue with SW tripod and I can’t wait. All my previous vehicles have been white, gray, silver, or black. Sela was 2nd on the list.

Thanks Krabby, I preordered April 22 and converted to order June 1, 2022. The website shows Aug. 15 like many others. If the website is accurate, I would love to know why preorders well after mine seem to be ahead of me in production.

I just did a live chat and they said my G was not yet in production. I asked why other preorders placed well after mine appeared to be ahead of me. They said "This can all depend on the configuration and specifications of the vehicle. For eg, if a vehicle has less configurations it will be created sooner as there is less parts that will needed to be added to the vehicle." I ordered a station wagon with no dealer installed options. I asked if there was any way to get accurate information for production and delivery and they said they would do some checking and email me. I hope to hear back soon. I have stayed very positive throughout this experience and I know people have gone through many delays and glitches. I will try to remain positive, but the preorder date should be a major factor, and if it isn't, Ineos should be explaining why. (Instead of resending an email about a video we have already seen.)

You may have received other replies already address these concerns and so here is my 2 cents ... I reserved 15 Oct 2021, preordered within 4 days of option back in June/July? - remember they stated that it was essentially a 30 day open window to preorder and your "place in line" was determined on your reservation date (did you mean converted to order 6/1/2023?? and not 2022). After "preorder" window closed, all that info was sorted then officially put into the System weeks later thus why the website indicates "Aug 15th". Website would be accurate to that point. Past that, get your dealer to give you your VIN and follow the WW ships crossing the Atlantic for the most accurate "arrival" date .
Remain positive as some of us have been in this Queue much longer and I can say I totally understand! The video this week was just another "egg on face" event and we have had a few too many of those honestly.
