Ah, the dilemma of spending the money on good quality American products in a few months due to being tapped out on paying for your new truck and taxes and registration on it versus the cheap poor quality Chinese stuff when you have some Amazon credit available and it will appear to have been free to your wife. Hmmmm…
Bison Gear is in Poland, not the US. So ironically, no bison. I have their rear shelf and side cages - love them. Perfect fit, easy assembly, high quality.

These guys are all over ebay as well as Amazon, all the pictures are of a Scottish White IG, which they have developed various bolt/stick on accessories. I admire the variation in products but I feel their price point is way too high. Its all made in china and not sure how good it is, perhaps someone can comment on accessories they have bought. They wanted £600 + GBP for a high level rear shelf, which is just plan ridiculous , I have ordered a UK sourced one of these for £270.00 inc tax & shipping
I got mine for about that £270 from ABP trading. Fitted well once youve bent the side supports slightly. Would not be without it

These side shelves/baskets are exactly what I’ve been trying to find. It seems like the Bison website is down though. For what they are the price seems inflated, whether through Bison or Amazon etcetera. But I doubt it’ll go down since there aren’t many vendors out there.

ANNML - I agree with you , but ended up ordering the side storage and ceiling shelf from Bison. I thought they were priced a bit high, but I am happy with the product. A lot of the cost is getting it shipped from Bison. I ordered the bags from Overland Gear Guy as well. I feel that while well made, the Overland Gear Guy bags are overpriced. Maybe, I am just overwhelmed by how many accessories I have purchased for the Grenadier! I would say just go ahead and order the Bison products. They really add some organization to the rig.

Mmmmmm - well, the Grenadier is basically an automotive excuse for expensive accessories - you will quickly become desensitized to this. The Bison stuff is really nice, BTW - pretty well priced, given what you get

Zenbox — you're right, despite price they really seem perfect to use that space.

CrazyOldMan — hah that is so true, might as well just adopt price desensitization immediately and be done with it! Plus the thing is I’ll have these for a very long time if not forever.

On the contrary, there are bison in Poland

The european bison lives both in scandinavia (i saw them while nordic skiing up in the mountains of sweden as a child) as well as in eastern poland near the border to Belarus.

Bison gear is legit quality. I actually think their product is worth the money they are charging. Shipping is reasonable from poland and you don't get the huge tarrifs as you get with chinese goods.

Overlandgear guy makes great stuff but it is a bit spendy... However, its done in the US by real people and that is worth something to me.

I guess i'm desensitized.... ;)

I guess you can take the girl out of Wisconsin, but not the Wisconsin out of the girl. In 25 years it will JUST be reaching customized perfection and you’ll start to say “oh sure, still breaking it in, youbetcha”

Bison is priced less than Amazon. If I would have known I would have ordered through them, although I do love getting things in two days through Amazon and returns are so simple. I don’t think bison has the safe for the trunk just the under drivers seat one.

I’m from Wisc. and represent that remark!
So there appears to be a not-statistically-insignificant number of Wisconsin Grenadier owners who tucked tail and ran down to Arizona. What would the opposite of “snowflake” be? Don’t come back whining to us when global warming turns Arizona into a blast furnace hellscape. We’re going build a climate refugee border wall “a beautiful wall, bigly time.”

Let me modify that. We’re going to TALK about building a wall, but then someone has tickets to the Packers game, and then before you know it, it’s the opener for deer season, and Big Rob had one too many the other night and his wife won’t let him come out for the site inspection, and then gee, isn’t the weather nice, better get the boat out, and then the neighbor needs help putting on new gutters. Well, someday we’ll get around to it. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Solid midwesterner representation.

I swear AZ is practically another midwestern city, just in a different location. I meet more midwesterners here than I ever could’ve imagined.

Others might disagree but Phoenix is already a blast furnace hellscape! You hear people say “oh you’ll get used to the summers and they won’t feel so bad; your blood will thin”. Um, blood does not thin from a person being hot — if that was the case the whole population would be on anticoagulants and pharmaceutical companies would be ecstatic, and I’d become a pharma rep asap.

The summers here are like living inside of a blow dryer on the hottest setting every day. The only redeemable facets of AZ summers are when there is a monsoon or a haboob — those never get old.

Already in the 70s we had the Bison Gras Vodka from Poland at home.
I hadn't gotten around to posting that, but we've got it in the states and it's my go-to vodka. 🍸🤤
