I just got done swapping out both sets of door speakers as I felt they sounded pretty bad even with the premium sound upgrade which apparently is only the JBL Nano sub. I found the spec's for the similar Hertz speakers and ended up going with JL Audio C2-650x (6.5") for the front and C2-400x (4") for the rear. These run at similar watts and levels to the OE Hertz. Super easy install, took a Dremel to widen the openings a bit in the plastic housings, cut the pig tails and install new female ends for the speakers, and that was it. Made some changes in the custom equalizer settings and much happier overall with stock amp running them. Only think I may add is some sound deadening in the doors but so far so good. I have my OEM JBL sub almost turned down completely and may remove entirely if I put in an amp for the 4 speakers to get more out of them. Anyone find a good location to tap into all 4 speakers wires in one place yet?
You can easily access all of them at the main unit, located under the driver's side of the dash; all the speaker wires are located in one ISO connector

I finally was able to install the V2 speaker upgrade after waiting some time for instructions in English. I also ordered the A-pillars that would have been pre-drilled for the tweeters but they ended up not being able to source more from Ineos and refunded me the difference. Here's the link for my version:

The instructions leave a bit to be desired but I managed to get it done. I was worried about drilling holes in the A-pillars but it turned out to be simple and a perfect fit. I love the look of the additional tweeters and was able to better hide the Wolfbox cables when I removed the pillars. The raised soundstage is the biggest difference followed by more clarity. The new speakers are a great match for the 12" sub that I've had for the past few months. My current system is a massive improvement over stock and I don't feel the need to make any additional changes. If anyone is considering installing this system, I'd be happy to give some tips.20240705_161528.jpg20240705_162328.jpg

I've had a few days to listen to the new setup and it really sounds great with the new separates up front. You change the equalizer settings all you want with the stock setup and it's still going to sound "muddy" considering the speakers are at your feet. The new soundstage is such a vast improvement and whether I'm listening to music or a podcast, the sound is much clearer.

Is all you added the top tweeters on the handlebars/a-pillars or did you do other changes as well?
I read the thread but i'm unclear as to what was done.

I replaced the 4 speakers in the doors. The fronts went from co-axial to components with crossovers for the tweeters. The rears are still co-axial. There's a link in a previous post with the plug and play setup I purchased.

Glad to hear that you are happy with the result.
Meanwhile Ineos can deliver the A-pillars.
Hello there, I was attempting to make a purchase online at your site and shipping to the United States is not an option? Should i be directed to a retailer here in the U.S.? Thank you.

I can tell you all what i'm doing. Being installed after i'm back from moab:

Sub: Hertz MPBX-250 S2
A Pillar: Audio Frog GS10
Front doors: Audio Frog GS60
Rear doors: Audio Frog GS42
Audison AF M1.7 bit for sub full DSP
Audison AF M12.14 bit for speakers (12 channels bridged into 6 channels, one per speaker). Full DSP

I've listened extensively to this sound and i really dig it. Should sound great once installed and measured + corrected with the DSP in the car.
