I have two, and sometimes three GPS systems running when on a trip. My main GPS these days is a Garmin Tread XL, which is a fantastic bit of kit. I can sit at home and plan drives through the Tread App on my phone/ipad, or direct on the device itself. Second GPS is MemoryMap for All, running on my iPhone, which requires external maps (most of which I can't get on the Tread XL), such as 1:25k topo maps, and HEMA detailed maps. Third is usually Apple or Google Maps, running through the Gren's head unit.
They work well, but my ultimate would be for MMfA support on Apple CarPlay, in support of the Tread XL.
I've enjoyed using the Tread XL, as it's responsive, and the screen large enough, that I can sit comfortably at home and just play with routes, and planning trips.
