Thank you both @Mohs 9 and @Logsplitter
Indeed we re just above freezing temperatures, there is no need to enforce this. The simple reason is to have some power for an additional rear view cam. However that can wait until temperature is raising and daylight is longer again. The only mod I did now, was a rubber mat in the boot similar to @emax . Only difference I do not have the airline rails ordered. But I managed to get 4 rails as left over cutoff, the rails are plain aluminium, got a few scratches, approx. 800 -1050mm in length and I paid 5 euros each, another euro for 4 caps and got a few used snap in - retainers.
The total length is 752mm inside, from end of retainer to end retainer. Just need to cut 2 of the rails appropriate and drill 3 holes in each, ream it properly and assemble it in my Grenadier later on. The other 2 remaining rails I keep for other purpose..
That is the next job..
Rear electric add ons can wait until spring..

I have a base wagon with a 12v outlet in boot. It does not have power. The front 12v outlet in the center console does work. They both have separate 15amp fuses on the panel under the steering wheel. I tried switching the fuses with each other and still the rear does not work and the front one does.

Have you switched on either the ignition or the PWR switch on the roof?

Yes the ignition was on, I tried the overhead switches, the ones I have on the base wagon without aux battery

Today I installed a VIOFO Dashcam. I connected it to INT 2. .. Worst part was to get the wiring almost invisibe.
In check with that I verified the function of the boot 12 V outlet.. Works with PWR switch on Roof. I will install some USB Stuff later on in the side panel .. but not today.
Happy this works so far. The USB in Footwell can now be used for something else.
