White rims? Thoughts?

Very good idea. I choose the black roof and not the white one to prevent this effect. But with white rims there’s a contrapoint to the roof👍
 
Maybe less effective but still "fixing" the issue ~ outside white lettering (OWL).

White wheels will look good with either blue (Shale Blue truck in the image below). The powder-coating guys didn't quite match the Scottish White (too much red, IMO) but it still looks sharp.

That's nearly the first mod I did with mine. The wheel color, according to the coater, is "Almond" - but it matches the body color extremely well.

That said... The amount of brake dust is staggering. I have to power-wash my wheels at least once a week.
 
White wheels look good with certain body color combinations but you have to be careful with your choices. That said, adding white wheels to get that old-timey “Defender” farm vehicle look kinda reminds me of jean designers who distress their pants to make them look worn out but then charge your a fortune for them. Sort of the same with white wheels they can cost a fortune just to look retro.
 
If a truck is Scottish White or has a Scottish White roof then, to my eye, any pure white accessories will look a bit off. (If it's not Scottish, it's crap?)

There are some here who have shared pics of steel rims they had painted Scottish White and I think they look great. I don't know if anyone has successfully matched Scottish White to a powder coat or to vinyl for wrap or accents either.
 
I powder coated my steelies (Prismatic Powder RAL1013 Gloss) which match really well with the Scottish White roof on mine. I also bought some alloys (Nomad Convoys in Salt) to mount my Hakkapeliittas on, which are more of a pure white and are not really a match. But I am just using them for my snows so do not really care that much...
