I too had an issue with the magnets not aligning. I found that the magnet inside the flap must have moved. Likely caused from shipping. It is as simple as pinching the magnet to move it down towards the bottom edge of the flap. Once there it seems to stay.

Hey I just saw this message, if its not working, please send it back and will fix it up, not sure what could have happened

Do you know where you can buy the Rear Molle Storage Bins?

Thank you in advance, Jeff

Bison Gear
I ordered both left and right rear baskets from Bison Gear (forum sponsors) on Sunday. They shipped via Fed Ex on Monday. Easy peasy!

Looking now at bags from Overland Gear Guy.

I opted to buy the baskets from Bison-Gear (Made in Poland) rather than the Amazon or eBay ones (Made in China). The Bison-Gear molle baskets are solid and the Overland Gear Guy bags work perfectly. Make sure to dab a bit of blue thread locker on the machine screws when installing the new baskets. It's a logistical circus act to install them alone but manageable. You'll see, lol

Just received my bags for the Bison Gear storage bins. High quality like the underseat bags. I also ordered a custom shovel sheath - more padding than I was expecting - very impressed with the final product. Thanks again for the custom work.

For those who have installed the Bison Gear side baskets how are you liking them? Any unexpected pluses or minuses?

I’m considering them, although a bit worried it may prevent access to the plastic access points, as well as the tie down points which are up on the side and I do use them.

Thanks in advance…

I have the Amazon bin on the right and you lose the tiedown point as they mounting bolts use the same point.

Rob, will you be in your office the week of the grenadier fest in Moab?
I'm rolling into salt lake early and I figure I'll stop by your shop and pick up a think or two. Maybe Tuesday if you're around?

I will be in the office most of Tuesday, probably taking off about 4:00 pm to head to Moab.

I installed the Bison Gear side baskets and no issues at all. No rattling or squeaks. I applied blue thread-locker on the bolts when I installed the baskets. It is a bit awkward to install them alone but manageable. I have since mounted a fire extinguisher directly to the baskets as well as numerous other kit (i.e. first aid kit, molle bags, mini shovel etc.). Be sure to buy the bags that slide inside the baskets from Rob at Overland Gear Guy.

100% this. I use the fire extinguisher bag from Overland gear guy and attached it as molle to my right side basket. The bags that goes inside the baskets are great!

I’ve been looking at the side bins at Bison. Are those the same as yours?

Yes, they are. I think bison makes a better product.
Pay attention to the left bin. Ineos has a different shape on the left side on cars that have a built in inverter vs those who do not. There are two bin types. My car was without the inverter and the eBay and bison worked great. Others have had to send back a bin because it didn't fit.

Why do you think Bison is better? My left side area is flat, similar to what Bison displays as the needed flat area.

Will you ever have the cargo roof shelf?

Oh wait, I think I’m looking at the wrong product — you sell the bags for the bins, not the bins themselves …?

A little bit more attention to detail in the gear I've gotten from them so far. Having said my bins are from eBay, I bought them prior to Bison had developed their own bins.

... Possibly also some confirmation bias on my part. I have a strong preference to European manufacturing and design due to perception and history of getting well designed gear from Europe vs China where I had much more misses.
