Looks like a good place for a forum members badge to go, @Stu_Barnes!I am in search of a spare tire delete kit that will cover up and plug the holes left behind when you remove the spare tire.
Let me know if you know of a solution that is available.
Thank you
Perhaps the OP doesn't see a need for a spare wheel which might never be used other than for occasional "rotation" at the annual service to spread the wear....I'll be the one to ask it.... Why move the spare from the super reinforced, easy to access rear door that is totally happy carrying a 35" (or potentially larger) tire
It won't be on the roof but if it is , a gold medal for height and weight achievement!Have we come full circle and it's now on the bonnet?
I removed my spare tire because I think it looks much better without it. I stored the tire in the back of the vehicle. Upon inspection, I noticed the welds attaching the hub to the rim are already rusting. I suspect this may be true for all the wheels, so I'll need to inspect them right away.I am in search of a spare tire delete kit that will cover up and plug the holes left behind when you remove the spare tire.
