Perhaps the OP doesn't see a need for a spare wheel which might never be used other than for occasional "rotation" at the annual service to spread the wear....

Simple rubber plugs off Amazon…also called firewall plugs.

Measure the hole and buy size or try a kit.

I removed my spare tire because I think it looks much better without it. I stored the tire in the back of the vehicle. Upon inspection, I noticed the welds attaching the hub to the rim are already rusting. I suspect this may be true for all the wheels, so I'll need to inspect them right away.

Did you ever find a kit to cover the holes left by removing the spare tire? As a short-term solution, I'm considering 3D printing something to cover them. I'd need to use some type of foam-like material on the back of the printed parts to prevent vibration from damaging the paint. I'd much rather buy a solution if available.
