I am sure that this is not new:
1) Use the center differential locks
• A center differential lock is standard on every Grenadier and manually activated via the mechanical transfer case selector
• The center differential lock must not be used on high traction surfaces
• Lockable in high and low range
• Stop the Grenadier
• Put the automatic gearbox in neutral

• An icon lights up in the screen behind the steering wheel
• Engaging and disengaging the center differential lock may require moving the grenadier a few centimeters
2) Use the front and rear differential locks
• Both, front and rear differential lock, are optional on the Grenadier
• Before using differential locks ensure:
i. Engine is on
ii. Vehicle speed is below 15 km/h
iii. Accelerator input is below 40%
iv. Vehicle wheels are not spinning
v. ESC is not actively intervening
• Activation order of differential locks
i. Center differential Lock
ii. rear differential lock
iii. front differential lock
• Using the rear differential lock
i. Ensure the transfer case is in low range
ii.

iv. Allow the Grenadier to move for a few centimeters
v. A constant light on the differential lock button means the lock is engaged

• Effects of active differential locks:
i. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and the Anti-Lock Braking System are disabled
ii. Vehicle steering is severely affected
• Disengage the differential locks
i. Either disengage all three locks sequentially backward (first front, then rear, then center)
ii. Or disengage the rear lock and the front lock will automatically disengage, as well
iii. Or disengage the center differential lock and front and rear differential locks disengage, as well
3) Use the High/Low Range mode
a. The Grenadier has a two-speed transfer case
b. Low range has a ratio of 2.5:1
c. Stop the Grenadier
d. Put the automatic gearbox in neutral

g. To make full use of the vehicles’ engine brake, use manual mode and select 1st gear
4) Use the downhill Assist
a. Ensure the vehicle is travelling forward less than 24 km/h or reversing less than 9 km/h
b. Press the downhill button in the overhead control panel
c. Downhill Assist cannot be activated when front or rear differential is locked or when ESC is deactivated

e. Set the speed in Downhill Assist using the RES+ and SET- buttons in the steering wheel
f. Press the downhill button once to switch it off
g. It will also automatically be switched off when driving more than 24km/h or reversing 9 km/h, a differential lock is activated, or ESC is deactivated
5) Activate the Off-road mode

b. Press the Off-road button for 1 second
c. Press again within 15 seconds to confirm
d. Two icons will appear in the screen behind the steering wheel, one for the offroad screen, one which says ESC off
e. The LED in the off-road button is turned on
f. Features affected by offroad mode
i. ESC switches to ESC off-road
ii. ESC functions are reduced
iii. Engine start/stop
iv. Parking sensors
v. Door ajar alerts
vi. Seatbelt reminders
g. Off-road mode turns off when
i. pressing the button for 1 second
ii. engine is turned off for longer than 30 seconds
iii. Speed accelerates to more than 70 km/h
