That Katanaboy looks hard work. I prefer a Stihl MSA 200 C-B battery chainsaw or MS461 for the big stuff. To be fair though I’m dealing with sweet chestnut rounds of 1m +
I don't often do this, but early this Spring I cut down ~50 invasive trees from my property, using my 40yo Homelite chain saw. I developed a nasty case of tennis elbow from my trigger finger. When I don't have that many cuts I just grab the hand saw. This one is also from my Dad, whose tree service paid for college in the 1950's. Sharp teeth cut very well and very satisfying.

Thats a nice VDE set, designed for working of electrical circuits.
I wouldn't have thought it would be that useful on a Grenny with the largest socket being 13mm.

What could you do with it ?
Look at the fuses ?
Remove a seat ?

Most of the tools are very small, it maybe useful for working under the back seats on the dual battery system but I don't think one could generate enough torque to ensure the batteries and associated systems are connected.
Nice kit for an IEE17 electrician but at over £350 i think it's aimed at those with more money than sense to be honest.

Something i have that I can recommend is a plastic dipped 10mm for battery nut removal. I keep one in my defender incase I need to disconnect the battery

I use it quite often at home and on my Landy because the tools are light and sturdy, the quality is very good and you have many tools in a small case that you need. High torque is rather seldom needed when you work at the electricity of a car.

And, yes, you can use it on working at the Grenadiers batteries like @ADVAW8S did.

BTW: @Miki: Will you buy a Grenadier or only troll this forum?

DCPU must be ripped, cutting those logs by hand would be hard yakka.

I have read other contributors posts, most if not all (apart from the German language ones, which I don't understand. My father had something to do with that).
To clarify, my posts aren't concentrated on insulting @DCPU but after calling me a liar I did notice that he leaves the door open for many questions which he 'never' answers.

BTW, 'someone gave me a machete' (in a Jungle filled country) is a cue (in English humour) for 'did they want you to take a long walk in the jungle'.
It's like someone in Chicago saying 'California is nice at this time of year' and another offering to lend them a car with a full tank of gas.

You simply started leaving 'dislikes' on every post I left, 7 in the space of 6 minutes on the 12th.
@DCPU leaves 'dislikes' too but he hasn't matched your zeal 👨‍❤️‍👨

The tool system you advocated has a very small and limited use on a Grenny, the quality is good and your are right, only a limited amout of torque is required when tightening electrical contacts.
On a battery it's around 7.5NM.
But for a car it is extremely limited, by it's nature its a specialiseds (VDE) tool kit, which (and i'm sorry you strongly disagree) IMO isn't suitable for a Grenny.
Maybe 1 or 2 of the tools are, but @ £350 it falls into my 'that would be a complete waste of money' category.

I'm not trolling. I'm offering opinion and (on occasion) asking @DCPU @Eric and @CountyV8 (and others) to explain comments they have made.
I haven't called any of them liars or neurotic narccissits or suggested they regulqarly have sex with thier mothers, (in fact i'm sure they are well balanced individuals with wardrobes full of colourful shirts and sensible ties).

"Will you buy a Grenadier ?" Yes I am in the process of speccing a Quatermaster as I need an N1, Class 5 vehicle.
In the UK using an M1 in a business situation really isn't cost effective.
The tax man is on a rampage as he see's many people using company cars (M1 class) as a means of tax avoidence and has made the process very complicated and expensive.

I am particulary interested in the faults and errors thrown up by the software and there is a lot of really good information here.
I was telling my father about it the other day, he is 97 and was a Lancaster navigator from 1943 to 1950, he's quite looking forward to a drive but wants to know if one without a Bavarian motor is available (it's a generation thing).

Every one has their own favourite but I use an ARB 47L and it’s been great. And in very hot conditions 40c+
