I was yesterday for the first time in a long time, and the first time with the Greni in the hunting ground. No problem on sloping meadows. These are currently also very dry. When I go back home without moon and dark the high beam at night on the country road is super bright. I Love this car.

First one (other than mine) spotted in the wild - Queens Red (I think) Amersham Buckinghamshire? If it's someone here then "Hello!"

Today I polished my roof to a high gloss with wax. The roof was not cleaned when the vehicle was handed over. The car must have been in the dust somewhere since February. There was a lot of sand in the gutter. So started with the pressure washer and hand wash. The polish is fantastic. I also removed the rubber on the front gutter to clean it. Hopefully the roof rack can come soon. The link to the 3M Polish: https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/436619O/datenblatt-80345.pdf and a few pictures

That's quite a decent amount of trapped debris ~ just the one screw from below to remove?

Today first time that I „need“ the low range (Bridge was weak and rotting wood; so we use a small, low ford, with muddy terrain behind, loose big stone on the riverside), no problem to move in low range, but impossible to use the rear locker, not needed, but I want to try.
I follow 100% the manual, but the LED was blinking, nothing happened.
Grenadier had no problems… otherwise I will give him back ;)

Ok, next time try again.

Another Test: HillDsecendControl at 12% slope, works perfect, but immediately the fuel control went from 1/2 full to nearly empty, and was not going back in flat terrain. We used 6mi later the petrol station and still 32l remain in the tank.
That hopefully is fixed with software update.

North of Watford!
Attempted to donate some RAF memorabilia to Newark Aviation Museum (curator not available on Friday). So on we went to a couple of local villages and had an afternoon cream tea at Fulbeck. Really enjoyable driving the vehicle on narrow British roads, lots of road presence and the height of the vehicle is certainly an advantage.

Picture of something random.

Ich werde nach und nach das ganze Auto mit dem 3M-Zeug wachsen. Später bin ich nicht mehr so wählerisch. Er kann sich auch schmutzig machen. Aber einmal eine persönliche Hingabe an alle Oberflächen.....

Did you wax with the machine? I have the pink stuff from Italian manufacturers, I can't think of a name right now. It's also great... I'll also do it after the holiday... But it's certainly a whole Saturday work for it….

I just did the roof this afternoon. The rest will follow gradually later. The stuff is suitable for hand care. I did it by hand. A kind of workout for me.

Has anyone attempted taking these bits off to look underneath as yet? Still looking for a spot for the UHF body, pictures I have seen behind dash panels it’s pretty tight in there.

Today I continued the disassembly of various trim.
Among other things, the panels and box on the centre tunnel as well as the trim on both sides. Likewise near the glove box. Especially the box for the beverage cups and the two other parts cannot be removed by loosening the screws alone. Here, too, there are clamps that hold the box in place.

Today we run the nearly 950km Scotland-Folkstone…. What happened left rear, TPMS failure, pressure to high, but same pressure as right side, and there green!?
Water again like two shot on the rubber mat, but now you can see it drop out of the feet ventilation nozzle. AC works perfect, outside temperatures 27-30 degree….
