If it was charging without the ignition on then it's the right pin 9 and 13 for that pins earth
10 for ignition live eg fridge with 11 earth,
On an aside, and you may have answered this in another thread, do you have any power to your 'Nato' two pin plug, I read somewhere some people had no power at all?Grenadiers Towing
Trailer was way overkill for the 4 troughs i was collecting, but only trailer i own that currently has 13pin electrics! Still grenadier looked awesome haulingwww.theineosforum.com
My CTEK charger to towing plug adaptor runs live through position 7 and earth through position 3.
I may have my orientation mixed up???

Are you sure you’re looking at it the right way round? Position 7 is opposite position 9 which should be permanent live? 5 is opposite 11, 13 opposite 12.. If you’re looking at a diagram of the socket as opposed to the plug… or from the rear as pooosed to the front everything will be backwards..So I was expecting to see something like this as standard:

But I appear to be missing any terminals in 13, 5 & 6.
Additionally, my permanent live is in position 7.
You're looking at it in reverse image, you are 10, 11 and 12 missing. The fridge and the corresponding earth. 12 is often referred to as the data pin and often omitted. This explains the fridge, ignition live not working. I wonder if it is something to do with an auxiliary battery. So I was expecting to see something like this as standard:

YesSo on further reflection - instead of missing wires in 13, 5 & 6, it may be 10, 11 & 12 - which would explain why it doesn't matter if your engine is running or not there's not going to be power to your fridge.
Did I miss the bit that explained that the 13 pin socket would only be wired as a 10 pin?

Thanks for the image, I'll have to source the pins as will others I suspect. Is there a brand and/or model number by chance on the socket? So on further reflection - instead of missing wires in 13, 5 & 6, it may be 10, 11 & 12 - which would explain why it doesn't matter if your engine is running or not there's not going to be power to your fridge.

Have you just looked into the socket? It's pretty obvious in mine that the 3 pins are missing the physical metal connectors (photo above).UPDATE
Conclusion: Ineos have not wired my 13 pin plug correctly or just have not wired power to the pin that powers the fridge at all
Just checked the plug on mine and it is exactly the same as yours, only 10 pins used. All the lights work correctly so the must have used different positions to the standard ones on the maypole guide. Will contact JT Hughes an see what they say.So on further reflection - instead of missing wires in 13, 5 & 6, it may be 10, 11 & 12 - which would explain why it doesn't matter if your engine is running or not there's not going to be power to your fridge.

No I just misread the wording/orientation ~ Maypole (and it seems most if not all diagrams) show it from the rear side of the socket, whilst most owners will only ever look at it from the front or plug side.Just checked the plug on mine and it is exactly the same as yours, only 10 pins used. My dealer is looking into I but seems they are all the sameIt seems IA was not expecting owners with caravans . Roof tent owners only?
This is pretty much disappointing from IA.
Yes, I just checked. My dealer is looking into I but seems they are all the same
