Thanks for all these pics!

What is your overall impression of the interior quality (I know it is still a prototype)?

As a prototype and from an interior only standpoint, it was actually fantastic in my eyes. For the eventual price, some of the larger plastic panels could be better, but it exceeded my expectations overall. From the outside looking in, it appears cramped, but once inside, not at all.

I didn't change the seating or steering wheel adjustments, but I know I couldn't find the tilt adjustment for the back, but it's there somewhere. The rest of the seat controls were easy.

The center console was a little further back than expected. Buttons and adjustable tactile items were great and felt solid. I wanted to spend more time to go over everything but didn't want to hog the vehicle.

Loved the armrest ledge by the window and was not expecting to think anything of it (the rear windows had it as well). Seatbelt easy to reach.

View outside was also great. The sunroofs are a must for me and makes it much more open feeling of course.

Steering wheel felt great as well and the leather was better than expected. Seats and bolstering nothing to complain about. Didn't notice anything about the headrest though.

Wear plastics like in the floor and loadspace seemed better than average for a utility standpoint. Not a fan of the uneven loadspace with the seats down, but I can live with it.

With how tall the vehicle is, I can see the door sill wearing quickly with feet dragging over that area. Sill protection could be better.

In the end, the interior only made me want one more.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I wanted to see the center console storage the most. Looks like there is more then enough room for what I need it for, pistol, box of tissue, and a small first aid kit. Being is locks is a huge bonus.

Even though it always comes up on car forums where Americans participate, it still always comes up as a shock to many of us non Americans that you guys are always thinking of where you are going to put your handguns. Bizarre world you folks live in.

It's OK. No sane civilian ever uses a handgun in anger. If they did, it would be all over the media.
Handguns are for kids and crims.

I not just learned about that extra storage space but also about these additional interfaces to AV system.

Ah is that so. I am in Germany - and indeed - I need some place where to store my handgun too.
Do you generalize handgun possession with "kids" and "crims" ? My Glock is a kind of life insurance.
A boar is not fun to deal with. Also - I do trapping.. Not in all case a rifle or shotgun is suitable and appropriate.

Its neither a firearm nor vehicle that is distinguishing people.. I am a bit .. :( (n) on this. Your statement associates me with kids and crims -quite disappointing generalisation.

I wouldn't get too upset. Like politics and hunting, guns are controversial. I am sure you carry a gun for good reason and would not question your rationale. Can also be quite handy for capping the odd Crim' should you come across one in your travels.

- Getting a general "carry" license in Germany is close to impossible.
As a hunter however I am permitted to carry inside a well defined area. And I am permitted to have the handgun or gun unloaded but accessible in a vehicle on the direct way to that area. So that is the reason - I flick the handgun in a safe and invisible spot and loaded mags separated. ( E.g. if accident with deer or boar. and boar is injured and on the run)
In most cases a long gun is senseless because of hard surface and high risk of ricochet and endangering bystanders -so either knife if possible - or a handgun with something slow and fat.. should put it out of misery. (often broken Spine, hip and intestinal.. )
