2004 td5 90 soft top, maybe for sale

30k+ miles pa and a lot off road. Hoping to replace 2 if not more with the Grenadier. The defenders are amazing but too unstable and tiring on long journeys. The RR is worn out (suspension tired) but was fantastic when new. All road v fast but boring. S8 fantastic but even with adjustable suspension can only do light tracks. Grenadier can replace all but S8 and Merc.

2nd Grenadier can replace Discovery and old td5 90 pickup and maybe a tractor on the farm.

Finally there is a commercial grade 4wd returning to the UK. The last was the land cruiser 100 series. Most of those are still working hard but just too old now.

We celebrated my 60th Birthday last Saturday night (actually on 18th December)
My wife organised a cake for me as below.
Unfortunately the 33 degree temperature melted the icing a bit a nice touch and a surprise.

1950 LR Series 1 80 (used weekly)
1957 LR Series 1 107 Station wagon (needs rebuild)
1958 LR Series 1 107 Station wagon (just been restored)
2007 Defender 110 Station wagon with LS3 V8, beast, bought new by myself from dealers, engine swap to v8 about 2 years ago
2014 Defender 90 (other Halves daily)
2018 VW Amarok, fragile junk, awaiting Toyota Hilux replacement which has been on Order since sept 2021.
EV BMW i3s as a daily, will be replaced with Grenadier!
...and an MAN 4x4 7.5t used around the farm and plans in process to convert to an overlander.

Why DaveB? - is it because of less electronics and overall tech in the Grenny; chassis/structural issues or are you thinking of a chassis extension on the dual cab version of the Grenny

Significantly less tech & wiring to remove and replace
The Grenadier has also been engineered from the start to be both a wagon and an extended wheelbase dual cab ute, which for Australia at least will be a cab chassis version
I think there was some talk about a possible extended wheelbase SW as well, with the same 300mm extension the dual cab is getting
Toby mentioned early in design the ladder frame was engineered to be extended or shortened easily, so I assume the rest of the components have also.
It would be interesting to take the two seat base version, extend the chassis by 800mm or more and turn it into a Troopy for overlanding
You could keep, or remove, the rear side passenger doors.
