I’ve gone from never seeing another Grenadier on the road to it now becoming a daily occurrence! A dark coloured Grenadier heading into Tarland Wednesday morning and then another one towing a trailer on the B9119 the following day. I was on my bike on both occasions so thought it best not to wave and confuse them!
Where’s the B9119? I was out and about with my trailer a few times towards the end of the week - once with a mk2 escort shell on it, once with some bags of sand and today with some firewood 😅

Fantastic, congratulations.

First impressions?
Just back from Fort Augustus - c3hrs each way. All good. I sit upright, so no cramping issues. Car very solid. I’ve mounted the odd pavement as the turning circle takes getting use to. And it looks like I have a minor IT gremlin as there is an ADAS warning light - the Autonomous Emergency Braking is greyed out and I can’t switch it on or off. Otherwise loving it. Defender drivers don’t wave (I didn’t either when I was in mine😁).

Awesome.

Yes, the turning circle is a pain. It still sometimes catches me out and I’m used to driving vans.

ADAS and stuff sounds like a pain in the balls tbh.

So glad you’re happy with it though.

My acid test for any car I own is how it makes me feel, I still look back at mine when I’ve parked it and I still take random pictures of it “just because”. It’s got under my skin like few other cars I’ve owned and I think I’d only sell it if Ineos brought out a slightly larger 7 seater version. With a heated front screen. 😂

Completely agree BVT. I've had all manner of different cars over the years ( as my wife invariably likes to point out, more cars than years I've spent on this planet) but I feel very attached to the Grenadier. This will definitely be ( barring any disasters) a long term and fruitful relationship!

Still loving mine, and its off to Marshals for a bit of attention next week. I did get dragged into Aberdeen Toyota (parks) to look at the new Land Cruiser. Its a bit L663 but very lovely, but not quite a Grenny. Will sell in bucket loads though if they can make enough and get round the regs to market them.
