Americas Wolfbox is installed and it is very cool

Here is a 3D printable design I made for my Wolfbox rear camera.
This part clips on the trim of the rear door.
1) No screws and no drilling of holes needed.
2) The Camera is clipped into it. It will not change its angle every time the door is slammed.
3) It will sit exactly in the right position, at the right angle and above the heating wires in the window. You don't see heating wires running across the picture as you have with the original camera mount.
4) Lens flaring and unwanted reflections are reduced to a minimum.

Attached is a file that can be 3d printed. I recommend PET since it is UV resistant, but other Materials like PLA also work.

Made a discovery today…I haven’t updated the firmware and have been suffering from the WiFi constantly turning on while driving, the lock icon popping up, and it randomly taking pictures.

Decided to turn off speech recognition…Had zero issues on my 1hour drive to and from home. Looks like that feature is not ready for prime time.

Although that is fixed in the latest firmware (it was fixed in a 2024 firmware. Either Oct or Nov). I used to suffer it too until the firmware update.

The Defender has this built in and you flip the mirror up like you do to avoid bright lights to activate. I would get this when I get my Gren but I have one problem with these that I did not see mentioned.

Now that I am getting older I need readers and the problem with these is that it requires close focus unlike a mirror where you are focusing far away. So as someone who is still popping readers off and on, I find the camera on the mirror to be blurry unless I put my readers on.

Anyone else have this issue? I did get some trifocals but the reader part is at the bottom which means some contortion to look at a mirror.

I never needed glasses for anything so for the universe to kick me like this has been frustrating!

I had my Wolfbox G850 installed today. It really solves all my problems with the rear visibility. I highly recommend it. I like it much better than I envisioned.

It is wired up to the overhead console and the rear camera wires are in the rear door and take the same path as the rear window wipers so everything is completely hidden and safe.

I am attaching a few photos as well as a few videos showing how it works. You can touch the screen and move the camera up and down for visibility. It also solves ALOT of the rear blind spot issues due to the very wide angle lens that shows three lanes of rear traffic and slightly to the sides of the Ineos.

The clarity on the screen is great!

I was trying to upload some videos and the files are too large even though they are only 12 seconds.

Love it
Who does those types of installations?

I'm having issues with my Wolfbox since I have my phone set to automatically connect to bluetooth. Once it's connected to the Grenny I can't review or copy files from the Wolfbox on my phone. I have to turn off and disconnect the 'auto-reconnect' feature on the Grenny to access the Woflbox wirelessly. So I just take out the card and do in the house via computer but it'd be cool if I could just use wifi without having to do gymnastics of detaching / reattaching the car.

I am short sighted and have varifocal glasses and have no issues with the mirror. no contortion is necessary.
