If we have the already 900 installed, would the 900 Pro be a simple swap? Meaning, are the connectors for the rear camera and power the same? Or, is the 900 Pro using an upgraded rear camera as well? Thanks.

I travelled a long way from north to south today and thought I'd drop in on Christian and Vera, even though it's quite a diversion for me. But they didn't seem to be at home. Maybe they were still travelling in the Alps in the Eastern Bloc of Europe. Only their Queen was in the courtyard. So I went and got myself a delicious ice cream in the neighbourhood.

I've seen the 850 model and it's really high quality. Can any current owners speak to how it's held up under vibrations from off roading, 4wd tracks, forest service roads, or corrugations?

Today while sitting at a red light, my wolfbox turned off on its own and i could not turn it back on. Then i stopped for groceries and when I restarted it came on again. Any idea what this issue might be? I connected the wolfbox to the INT 2 switch.

Being Texas, could it be heat related? I know excessive heat shuts down my mobile phone.

This is not an accurate statement. I emailed customer support and they said it had to be within 90 days. I fall just outside that and was told I could not return it when I referenced this post.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. You cannot apply the existing discount and the code at the same time.

The rear cam of G900 Pro is NOT compatible with the G900 main unit. But the hardwire kit is universal for most of our models.

Did you open the box and are you using it now? If the G900 package bought on our official website is intact, you can return it and make up for the difference in price for the G900 Pro.

Not sure if it will solve it but are you on the most recent firmware version? That appears to have improved the stability of mine.

How do you get the latest firmware? I purchased directly from Wolfbox.

It’s available from the Wolfbox website. You’ll need your serial number (back of the device) and firmware version (see menu). It’s as simple as formatting your SD, loading the appropriate firmware version to the SD card via your computer, and starting the Wolfbox up with the firmware/SD installed.

I’m a new member and new Grenadier owner here in Boca Raton, Florida. At my age (80+), my eyes need a bigger rear view camera image. I like the idea of the Wolfbox, and want it to be professionally installed.
1. Can it be installed so that it looks like a factory installation rather than an “add on”?
2. Is the camera better positioned High above the spare tire (as it is on my Gwagon), or low at the license plate level?
3. Do you recommend removing the existing rear view mirror and using the Wolfbox as a replacement?
