Where is the front auxiliary power point?

Did you find both the 10A & the 25A?

I should have both, but so far I've only found one and not actually tested to see which one it is.
Yes some situation for for me I’ve only spotted the one and haven’t looked further for another one. At the moment I’ve no use for them so haven’t investigated as to whether 10a or 25a supply.

In which case you may be better off with a tripod arrangement 😉

Ironically I've used one many a time in my youth. My lasting memory was using one the day after a very delicate minor operation, not fastening the leg belts tight and steeping off the ground.

As we have so many English words adapted in the German language it alway surprises me when I see a German word used in the English language. Most of the time it’s more a one way street.

The dealer has already been asked. Here is their reply :-" "

I'll let you all know if anything changes. I'm sure you will be letting me know if anything comes to light.
The Youtube channel Grenadier-Exploring is going to release a video on this in the near future. I'm looking forward to it...

English is effectively about 60% derived from early Germanic languages. The rest mostly Latin.

Ingemar Rodler, the man behind Grenadier-Exploring, has put out a useful 'how-to' video at

. Look at about minute 1:30 for this connection. UNFORTUNATELY, the layout of components under my bonnet is totally different to the one he shows. There is nothing accessible at the location he shows - perhaps because my Grenadier is RH drive diesel. So - no further forward, I'm afraid.

I have just had an update from the sales agency in Cairns (Westco) that they have checked a couple of Grenadiers looking for this outlet and they can't find it either. They will be taking up the question with INEOS. Watch this space...

Hi @ericge

I saw a post on facebook a while ago from another Aussie RHD grenadier owner. I can't find the post now unfortunately....but he found both the 10A standard, and 25A optional auxiliary wire pairs on the driver side next to the air filter housing. I've had a look at mine, and I can clearly see the 25A pair taped to the harness near the front of the filter housing. If I follow that same harness in your picture toward the windscreen, and look down at the harness between the rear of the filter housing and the brake fluid reservoir, I can see electrical tape going around the main harness, which in all other cases on my car has meant auxiliary wires are taped there. They are not easily accessible, so I can't confirm. I have had the top of the air filter housing off, and still cannot reach them.
