I'm a little surprised that the service manual hasn't leaked out online yet. EVERYTHING is online. These guys have better security than most countries...

It probably says more about the demographic that is interested in car maintenance versus computer hackingI'm a little surprised that the service manual hasn't leaked out online yet. EVERYTHING is online. These guys have better security than most countries...
Hey I've got the full copy. Are you on Signal and if so what's your email?I'm a little surprised that the service manual hasn't leaked out online yet. EVERYTHING is online. These guys have better security than most countries...
I was about to suggest the same.Hey I've got the full copy. Are you on Signal and if so what's your email?
I feel utterly abandoned by Ineos, to find out that my nearest service centre is now in Northampton was the straw that broke the camels back for me.Please do not abandon those of us in the UK particularly the 'early purchasers' who have put their faith and monies into the Grenadier concept. Sales were always going to be low by
comparison to America and Australia in particular and therefore a reduced number of sales agents / workshops required but we still need access within reasonable distance and the
reliability of parts availability.
So sadI feel utterly abandoned by Ineos, to find out that my nearest service centre is now in Northampton was the straw that broke the camels back for me.
I'm not listening to anymore of the....things are changing, stick with it etc etc anymore.
I'm surprised you can't find a decent nearby BMW/independent mechanic.I feel utterly abandoned by Ineos, to find out that my nearest service centre is now in Northampton
It is what it is, but when in the UK we had 20 sales centres and now we have 9 (10 if we count NI). Inoes didn't have the decency to inform me. I understand how some feel totally let down.I'm surprised you can't find a decent nearby BMW/independent mechanic.
Other than occasional technical service bulletins from Ineos (mostly non urgent/critical) the usual service items are pretty straightforward.
I lose 1-2 day's income travelling over 500km to get my Ineos serviced. It is what it is.
Living in such a small country we don't accept having to travel far to buy & service. I'm lucky with my dealer, fingers crossed, but I wouldn't be happy to travel over 45mins. I also would expect a free courtesy car from a main dealer, which ours does, but it seems some of you travel for hours and then have to hire a car!I'm surprised you can't find a decent nearby BMW/independent mechanic.

True, but it isn't the end of the world. I'm 1. grateful and lucky to own an Ineos and 2. Very grateful to be alive and not starving , oppressed or under attack..It is what it is, but when in the UK we had 20 sales centres and now we have 9 (10 if we count NI). Or, as @Jeremy996, when drowned you don't have to go scuba diving to release into neutral. Or wait for water level to dropIf I could say it after being bogged to the floor boards in a silty slurry in a LC79 can Ineos put a mechanical selectable with a lever neutral in their transfer case in the cab. This is absolutely the one thing that I like about the LC79 I use for work. Being able to select neutral in the t/case so that the vehicle can be towed on a work site makes a LC70 a better choice over an Ineos for wet season recoveries when the weather turns to shit and the site becomes a quagmire.
Yeah it’s all relative I guess. Even with the reduced density of service locations, the distance to travel in UK is still on par with some of the best experiences, one can hope for, across many other markets.Chandlers of Belton, my suppling dealer was 20 miles, 39 minutes away. My nearest sales dealer is now Adventure Automotive, 48 miles, an hour and 15 minutes away. It's a small country and tightly packed.
Well, after we invade, Canada and Greenland will have 28 more locations. It's clearly a win win situation.Yeah it’s all relative I guess. Canada has 2 service locations for the whole country.. LOL
