a little seatbelt. the bungee is there to hold the phone in its cradle when off-roading. it is not needed on regular roads or tracks and can be stored away.

Looks like its designed to funnel dirt into the center dial control section.. (which i never use and would tear out for a cubby in a second). That would be loaded with change and lint in a week with me. I'm the only one Im sure, but, If you can redesign that so the top edge is level, and there's a tunnel under one side letting crap fall out that shouldn't be there, send me the file. :)

You could always take a small piece of cardstock or plastic and make a false floor - that way you could still get to the knob if that was needed. Prior to a few weeks back I had never used that stuff until I started wearing gloves as the weather turned. The gloves I have are not touch screen capable so the knob and buttons are actually useful.

I think the bungee would work better if two cords were used oriented horizontally one to the front and the second to the rear, going left to right (Red)….or vertically (Green)

That should allow better access to the touch screen (if needed) and also still allow easy placement/removal.

I use my dial too much for this to be an option for me but I think its a great idea for those who don’t!!! Love the creativity and outside the box thinking🤙🏻🤙🏻

The bungee cords won't be needed most of the time. That's why I designed it that way. The case is constructed so the cord completely retracts within it. (The cord I used in this picture is not very elastic and also a little too long. That's why it does not fully retract.) Use 4mm bungee cord and it will work.
